Would Ruiz be able to wrestle his way to victory?

Nope. Wlad uses his size well and has a great jab. No way does Ruiz get away with his usual tactics. Wlad blasts him out of there in under 5

Ruiz should be forced to fight in MMA if he wants to continue fighting ..

Wlad isn't as mobile as Roy so I figure Ruiz might be able to hump on Wlad. Ruiz was able to hump the larger Golota aswell. I doubt a strong long jab is enough to keep Ruiz from humping. No has ever kept Ruiz from humping him with his jab.

I haven't see Ruiz fight anyone with a jab like Wlad. He will be in no rush to get close after tasting a few of them. If the jab isn't enough to keep him off a staight right hand will do the job. I just think Wlad is strong for Ruiz.

Wlad doesn't mid holding though anyway, so maybe Wlad will just counter with holding of his own.

I hope Ruiz would be blasted out of there but I'm pretty sure he'll use his "ring generalship" to hug his way to a decision loss.

This is a perfect fight for Wlad IMO.. his athletizism would shine and he'd pepper Ruiz then stop him

It wasn't Roy's mobility as much as his handspeed...and Jay Nady, who forced Ruiz to continually back off and come forward, as opposed to being allowed to stay on Jones all night.

Klitschko has a great work-rate with his jab...he can pepper an opponent with a hard jab all night and just keep his right hand cocked.

Golota's jab is good, but he isn't nearly as busy or consistent with it which allowed Ruiz to come in...which he does very slowly, which is why Golota could nail him with right hands coming in (knock him down).

And Ruiz was at his Golota-beating best around 2 years ago, In the meantime he has recessed, and Wlad has moved forward.

    Wlad in 8.

Ruiz is one of the most mentally tough fighters in the world.
He fought and defeated Haseem Rahman, even though he could postpone the fight at least 4 times, and then retire from boxing, claiming injuries, like other fighters have done, when forced to enter the same ring with Haseem.
Once The Quiet Man taps that chin, Wlad is goner. Ruiz has been KOed only once in his career, by one of the hardest heavyweight punchers of all-time, while Wlad has been KOed and knocked down multiple by complete bums, like Peter, Purrity, Pennel, etc.....Easy fight for Johnny....

They are still gay ugandan robots but Wlad is pretty mobil and pretty fast.. I think Ruiz's style or lack there of.. would make Wlad look good

    Come on, Dsimon.

If he said Wlad was an easy fight for Brian Minto you'd agree with him.
