I'll go with Tito. He simply is just a better fighter. Pavlik is just slow enough and has a lack of deffense. Also if Taylor almost had him out , I think Tito could do it as well ...
Tito loses to an old ass shot Roy decisively. Pavlik destroys a top MW contender and the MW Champion in the past year. I'll take Tito, to get his fucking head knocked into the stands.
I understand what you are saying but , I see Pavlick (barring a lucky punch) getting stopped in 6 Vs old ass shot Roy. Pavlik has no deffense and very slow hands ... Taylor made for Roy ... Also JT post Hopkins has proven to be nothing special and he almost KO'd Pavlik. Skip who beat a champion etc and just look at their performances. Tito in losing to Roy looked better then Pavlik ever looked ... Kessler just lost decisevly to an old Calzaghe who IMO both in their primes was never as good as Roy, I would pick Kessler to beat both Taylor and Pavlik.
I would only SLIGHTLY favor a pre-Hopkins Trinidad over Pavlik, reason being is that Kelly would come to Tito and he could be hit. But Tito never faced a real KO puncher either so we'll never know. I've always thought Tito took a pretty good shot but Pavlik is a monster puncher so we really don't know. I just tend to think that if Trinidad hurts Pavlik, he'd keep him hurt until he finished him. Right now no way. It wouldn't even be a fair fight I don't think. Pavlik would brutalize him.
Agreed with PR. Right now its a no contest. Tito would honestly get blitzed within a round IMO. I think Pavlik destroys any post-Hopkins version of Tito. Now if we're talking about the Tito that brutalized Joppy, NOW we have an interesting fight, and just about a pick em.
