I'm actually gonna go against my better judgement and predict the upset. Kerm lays Phony out late.

 

I disagree that Cintron is a better fight than Judah. Regardless of how much Judah has slipped he is much more talented than that tall gimp.

You put Cintron in the ring with Floyd and Cotto like Judah did and the result is worst. Judah gets a knock for losing those big fights but he was competitive and exciting.

Cintron has never beaten anybody worth a damn. The one time he fought Margarito he was humiliated.

People talked all this shit about how much he improved. Feliciano damn near kicked his ass. Coming of that performance he is suposed to look good against the guy who made him cry? :laughing:

All Cintron offers is a belt but nothing else. Le'ts not pretend he is a different fighter than he was years ago. He is still just a power puncher with no skill and no heart.

Tony should ko this fraud again with no problem.

 

How does beating Cintron {again} after losing to Willams bring Margarito any bloody closer to Mayweather and Cotto??

I do give Cintron props for fighting Margarito. Only then will I see if Cintron has improved since that first beating.

For Margarito is a stay busy fight with a name fighter in the division. It would have been the same scenario had he signed to fight Judah.

Gomez just landed the Cotto fight when he was gonna be an oponent for Chavez jr. go figure :dunno:

Margorito is a much tougher fighter then Cintron. Cintron is mentally weak, Margarito sure aint a mental midget. I can't wait to see Margarito stomp Cintron again.

I can see your point but disagree. Don't put too much stock in talent, guys like Judah and Bojado have shown what talent and no substance can do and IMO even a (maybe) improved Cintron has a better chance than a mentally damaged Judah.

At least Cintron matches up well with Margarito in length and height and I can guarantee that Judah would have lost his confidence again against Margarito because of the huge size discrepancy. For proof you only need look at Judah's pussified decision to turn down the fight.

 

I was actually just bullshitting with this prediction btw.

Much as I despise Phony, he figures to beat Kerm's ass AGAIN! Kerm may make it more competitive this time, but I have a hard time seeing him actually winning.

Your boy Shane turned down a fight with Margarito. I don't know what Bob offered but lets face it. He had HBO's fee to work with. Cotto would have been getting most of it and Margarito is his guy hes trying to keep happy so he was probably getting more then Zab. Gomez's team complained about the size of their purse and he is making more then Zab. Im not saying it was a great move because he lost a tv date but he was probably offered shitty paper.

Here's what I don't get, when the question was asked about matching Cintron with Cotto, Arum claimed that Cintron was mandatoried to fight Clottey and the only way Arum wouldn't hold Cintron to that is if Cintron vacated. So my question is, since Cintron is fighting Margarito, did Arum make Cintron vacate? What happens to Clottey now? Does he get the Margarito-Cintron winner and if so how does Arum make a Margarito-Cotto fight if Clottey is supposed to be fighting? What's the deal here? :dunno:
