Wlad is training in a tent at the PGA Resort about 10 minutes away from my office. Wednesday he was hitting the speed bag to the motivating sounds of Salt n Pepa. I also understand Sultan is training a little further south in Pompano Beach. I may try to check him out next week and get some pictures.
"Try" REED's Ass, U'd BETTER Get Over there, Dog....How Many Guys Can Say they've Met THE REIGNING Heavyweight Champion of the World???:dunno: Viva Wladimir!!!!... REED:cheer:
Wlad is the best Heavyweight on the planet and has one of the top offensive arsenals in HW history. The man is a legend.
Wlad is my white-hype hero, he's a bitey bitey whitey, all I ask of him is to retain the race, retain the race.
What's wrong with that honks?..:dunno: I only want the caucasian man to win at all times?, that's all I ever ask?..he's white, and so are we, Wladimir is a refreshing avenue to nourish our racist, milky, kluxy, cracker-arsed motherfucken' souls, you gotta be feelin' it .
He still has the time and potential to become one though. I wouldn't hold my breath but if there's a candidate right now at HW, it's him.
I don't know about that. Plenty of people don't consider Larry Holmes a legend, because his division was so weak. Well, that division that Holmes ruled over was umpteen time better than this one and he was undefeated against that division, racking up 20 defences before being defeated. Wlad has three (count 'em), THREE KO losses on his record, already. As good as Wlad is (and I rate the guy top 15 P4P and have for a while)....his career is damaged already.
It has happened every time as far as I can remember. At the very moment the heavyweight division is very weak and the reigning champion, let it be Holmes, Holyfield, Lewis or Klitschko, is ruling just because of that. Then in ten or 20 years they get their proper respect
There have been many fighters who have hit their prime later in their careers. I think Wlad has finally found his style and a good trainer for him. Every fighter has had some losses in their career. Most come at the tail end, yet some suffered those losses at the beginning and then finish strong. I think Wlad's career will follow the latter.
You can try and write it off to old-timer bias, or whatever else you wish....but this heavyweight division is beyong the worst era of heavies in my lifetime. It's arguably the worst of all-time.
I am serious. People, even experts, have seen almost all heavyweight champs since Dempsey being weaker that the earlier ones. Louis, Charles, Marciano, Clay, Frazier, Holmes, Holyfield, Lewis. Klitschko. Why are you so positive that it will change in 15 years?
SOME experts...and it's never gone in chronological order, or anything close. But again, if it suits your argument...go with it.
Ugo is one of the most biased posters on this site, and his ability to distort the facts to suit his ridicuolous arguments is well-known.
