Read up on McCain ... There's a reason the Veterans groups and POW/MIA groups hate him. There is plenty of real evidence that he did not have it so tough in Vietnam as a POW ... despite what the supposed reports and "evidence" picture they try to paint. There's also a reason he didn't want other POW's released as HE is in fact one of the main culprits in blocking the release of more POW's or in demanding their release. The natural order of things is that when your own message doesn't work, you put down the opposition so the people are forced to pick the lesser of two evils. We saw that last night with Romney and McCain. Unfortunately for the rest of us, neither message works.
Speaking about Ron Paul .... I think the good is obvious to all who look and see and get to know him. The negativity is needed for other candidates for one simple reason ... They're all selling something by presenting an honorable facade in front of a pack of lies. Try as they may to find dirt on Paul ... they couldn't . So they marginalize him in every way they can. Meanwhile they present the squeeky clean facades , covering up mounds of a dirty past and do and say whatever it takes to get elected with no real intention of change as can clearly be seen by their dirty pasts. But to expose that dirty past is to expose the man behind the curtain ... and they can't have that. So the ingnorant and uninformed people buy the squeeky clean facade and sadly ... making the same mistake over and over ... get fooled again. Ron Paul is NOT presenting a facade while hiding behind the curtain .... HE IS THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN ... open for all to see. The others CAN and NEED to be exposed or we're doomed. I know you like Barack Obama ... and truth be told .... I don't think he's THAT bad of a guy overall . But he is part of the elite and IMO all he is , is a vote for an ideal . Yeah, I don't know why nobody ever mentions anything about the psychological effects of being a POW. Especially if it's true that he was in solitary for 3.5 years. 3 weeks makes someone go crazy! Obviously though, the response would be, "How dare you mock what this hero went through!" or "How dare you mock what our soldiers are going through!" Where's the jerking off smiliey when you need one?
