Much harder? Nope. The shot that Dariusz took looked worse and probably was. Not sure either guy was faking it, though. Pro boxers aren't much different from regular people when they aren't ready to get hit.

I've stuck up for dlh (hopkins), liston (ali 2), camacho jr (leija), and littles (liles 2) when allegations of faking it were brought up.

It wasn't Dariusz who was obligated to fight Rocchi, it was Roy Jones and he never did...eventually costing Roy the WBC belt, the WBC millions, and Graciano the title shot he earned.

Dariusz fought him after he beat Nunn. Sure, it was two years after, but Dariusz had been fighting his ass off in the meantime and it's not his fault that Graciano was rusting. And it wasn't clear he actually was rusting, either.

Oh, let's say a guy whose jaw is broken--abraham--or a guy previously mentioned in this thread--Coggi--neither of whom was faking, imo. Perhaps Abraham was, but certainly not Coggi.

There are also many, many examples of fighters quitting this way...turning their backs and just resting on the ropes. Usually it isn't world class fighters, but that is beside the point.
