    Ricky Hatton vs Louis Collazo??

    Roy Jones vs John Ruiz??

Jones and Hatton moved up to fight for WBA titles.
Both men got a 12 round decision in their favours.
    Who was the most impressive??

Can't believe people aren't impressed by Hattons trip to 147 and the win over Collazo

I heard Hatton had had some difficulties all right but Jesus you make it sound like he was fucking out of it...Ruiz had Jones on the ropes late on.

Yeah, after having Collazo off balance and out position by holding and pressing down on the back of his head.

So.....the consensus view is that Jones looked a lot better at heavyweight than Hatton did at Welter...so...why didn't Jones stay at Heavyweight and why didn't Hatton stay away from Welter???

So far, 100% of fightbeat posters are acknowledging that Roy Jones looked 100% at Heavyweight.:nono: And that Hatton looked pretty laboured at Welter.

Jones look good at Heavyweight...but he doesn't normally fight anywhere near the weight he had to put on for thaT FIGHT......he came in at what 200-210.?? i don't know..it might've been 190 but i'm not sure...anyway...Jones was a lightweight 175....

Ricky Hatton move up 7 pounds...and look like poop...

So, you acknowledge that Hatton walking around at 160 didn't help him in terms of his trip to 147?

???? Hatton probably walks around at 170-180+ inbetween fights...

Ricky sucks at 147...for some reason he isn't very effective outside of 140...

    Is this a SERIOUS Question???:dunno:

Roy Jones TRADED w/the MUCH Bigger Ruiz Early, BUCKLED him N Round 4, SHATTERED his Nose to Shit & Made him TENTATIVE for the Latter Half of the Bout N Rout to a CLEAR-CUT Decision...

Ricky Hatton STARTED Well, Petered Out Towards the Middle, was VISIBLY Hurt 2-3 Times, Nearly DROPPED N Round 12 & Eeeeked Out a DISPUTED Decision...

    lol

    funny thread..

problem is as others have said, Roy moved up for one fight.. fought a guy who dropped the durable Holy! as much hate as Ruiz gets he was a legit HW. Roy TOtally dominated him

Hatton was already prolly heavier than Collazzo.. he moved up for multiple fights IMO in part cuz he could not really make 140 easy anymore. He did not look too good vs Collazo

    not sure about "dropped up"

No, he Walked Around there then Contacted Mackie Shilstone to Help PUT ON Weight while MAINTAINING Speed...

Shilstone Helped Michael Spinks Prior to Taking Larry Holmes' Title AND he Helped Bernard Hopkins PRIOR to the Tarver Fight...

Roy Weighed N @ 193 OFFICIALLY & was 199 on Fightnight, According to HBO's Scales...

    Multiple fights? Which ones? :dunno:

You are right though- Hatton was 30 seconds from being KO'd in the last round of the Collazo fight. He most certainly didn't look good at all by the end
