There are some stacked UFC cards coming up. UFN 13, and UFC 84 are loaded, and 85 looks like it'll be no different. TFK
I agree BYG, that is an interesting fight to me as well Hey TFK, thanks for putting up the schedules that is cool as hell and much appreciated. Just out of curiosity, where do the rankings come from next to the names?
why is Alexander/Irvin on the undercard of a UFN? I thought that fight would be on a UFC PPV main card for sure.
Frankie Edgar is on that same undercard. Spencer Fisher as well. I'm amazed there are that many good fights on a UFN. Hell, it would be great if they broke it up into 2 seperate cards on back to back days. I want to see all of the fights, not just 3, or maybe 4. TFK
I'm surprised nobody is talking about Liddell\Shogun at UFC 85. With all these good fights coming up, this is shaping up to be UFC's best year ever. TFK
TFK and whoever else, what can you tell me about KALA KOLOHE HOSE? Besides the fact that he has some really ugly tatooes, that is.
I've only seen Hose's last fight, a few weeks ago on EliteXC, and he looked good, but I'd have to watch a few of his other fights before giving an educated opinion on him. He is fighting Phil Baroni on March 15th for the Icon Middleweight Title that was stripped from Robbie Lawler, so that should tell a lot about him. TFK
I have never heard of the guy you are talking about but i hope he beats Baroni. I would probably root for Bin Laden to beat Baroni.
Silvas bullshit P4P #1 ranking by that clown Rogan is going to be exposed on March 1. Henderson is gonna knock his ass out :bears:
stop paying so much attention to Joe frigging Rogan. Silva is certainly one of the best fighters in the world, but i don't think many people rank him as #1 p4p. "Irregardless", Silva is going to knock Henderson out.
They didn't rank him #1 before Rogan said it. Pretty much all the UFC fanboys rank him numero uno. Even the commercial for the fight says Silva is the best p4p fighter. Henderson has an iron chin and his big right hand is gonna put Silva to sleep.:bears:
It will. Henderson ain't Rich Frankilin or go back to Japan where the competition is easier Chris Leben. Your boy is getting whupped March 1 Gatti :bears:
Fedor the number one pound for pound fighter in the world....and by a redic easy margin too.... silva is top 5, but i think hendo is gonna put him to sleep
REED WANTS Anderson Silva to Win, but After Watching Henderson ARGUABLY BEAT Rampage (After WAXING Wanderlai, No Less), REED Thinks he's Gonna B Tooooooo STRONG for Anderson... REED Doesn't Know Much about MMA Lb 4 Lb, but if Anderson Silva BEATS Henderson that'll B Singularly as IMPRESSIVE as Anything REED has Seen from Fedor... Silva, GSP & Fedor have Consistently Impressed REED the Most, from the Little Bit of MMA he's Watched... REED
Well, what is Dana White supposed to say? He's promoting his fighter, just as he should. Is calling Anderson Silva the best pound for pound fighter in MMA any worse then calling a fight for a fractioned Alphabet belt a World Title fight? Or trying to pass off fighters like Roy, Tito, Vargas, etc, as relevant? TFK
An alphabet title fight is still a world title fight. Vargas' fight was promoted as his final fight. Nobody said he was going to be a champion or anything. Roy and Tito were promoted as legends and they are legends. They are 2 of the greatest fighters in boxing ever. That was a really bad post you need to come up with some better examples next time you agree with UFC's phony marketing.
If you consider most of the belt holders 'World Champions', then we have a different opinion there. And how is UFC's marketing phony? You can make a strong case for Silva being number 1 P4P. I don't agree with it, but I can understand why people think that way, especially considering what Fedor has done (or hasn't done) as of late. It's just smart business to push one of your guys as the best fighter in the world, especially when an argument can be made to back that up. TFK
I think Fedor, Silva, and GSP all deserve to be in the top 5 P4P for sure. Fedor needs to get back in action against top fighters again to keep this ranking though. Silva and Fedor I feel are the top 2 spots though for sure.
Its a tough one for me too. I would never count Silva out though. The dude has some maaad skills. This is gonna be a helluva scrap. Silva with his precision striking , sick Muy Thai, and slick style vs. Hendo with his rock solid chin, crazy wrestling and sledgehammer fists. Cant wait! :bears:
