is some of the best I've heard in a while. I like the tandem and hope they keep them together for a while:bears:
On 1 Hand, REED Credits Lennox for IMPROVING, but the Cat Still SUCKS:: ...He's just NOT an Interesting Speaker, which is RARE for those w/British Accents... REED
You've got that right. I'm honestly bemused by him still being there. Sure, he's Lennox Lewis, former heavyweight champ etc, but fuck me, could they have found a worse commentator? At least Foreman was HIGHLY entertaining.
I must be losing my mind. Much as I hated Lummox Lewis as a fighter, for some strange reason I actually enjoy his commentating. Sure he's not as insightful as Roy, or as entertaining as George, but he does give good insight at times. Plus whenever theres drama and he gets all excited in that corny ass British/Jamaican accent, it makes me everytime.::
Lummox says "definitely" more often than Roy used to say "however". But not QUITE as often as Floyd says "like i said before".
Scott Ledoux. BTW - I know everybody likes to suck Bob Papa's dick, but in all honesty(and many will disagree with this).... the man cant hold a candle to Lampley when it comes to commentating this sport.
I agree! I don't know why so many knock Lampley. I know he can be biased sometimes. but I just enjoy the way he calls fights. He makes them more exciting which is what he is supposed to do. There's nobody better than him at that job. I dont' enjoy him when they do documentaries like lengendary nights. Where he comes across as a boxing expert because he goes too far to make a point and it's not what he does best.
Yep, I agree too. Surely lamps can be annoying, and seem like a cheerleading little girl, but he is a good commentator overall, no doubt. I don't recall ever hearing Scott LeDoux commentate. How bad was he? Bernstein is perhaps the most overrated commentator today. His performance on the Vazquez - Marquez rematch was disgraceful.
which makes it a very british accent, since black-british-of-caribbean-origin is a sizeable ethnic group in today's multicultural britain. only a minority of people here talk like hugh grant. really the unbritish part of his accent is the north american influence, from his time in canada.
Yes. Just in the same way as South America is comprised of quite a few countries, Canada is part of North America as a continent. It's just not part of the USA, or what's commonly known as "America". LOK you're America, I shouldn't need to tell you this. Then again, yuo ARE American, so I guess I do need to tell you ::
Mexican, you should know that I'm world wide baby! I have family all over the world and travel a lot.. that said.. we all know as a "continent" it is part of north america I was saying it is not AMERICA as someone mentioned that Lemmon was influcenced by his time in north america.. I just wanted to make it clear that CANADA is not AMERICA for any of the idiotas here that do not know..
Indeed, if rooster had said Lummox's time in AMERICA, I would wholeheartedly agree. However, as he specified North America, I took that as meaning the continent. Have you been to GREAT Britain LOK?
Canada is not a continent. You are a good poster in many ways, but when it comes to georgraphy and current world events, you are just  .
What a dumb shit. A Continent {Canada} that is part of another Continent {North America} Lok, would it be fair to say that you and Canada have certain things in common, for example, you are both, well, INCONTINENT???
Obviously I was referring to his Online Persona which he has carefully cultivated to resemble a drooling, rambling, post-stroke idiot. Hopefully, he's better in reality. :cheer:
