    By Ricardo Ibarra/ FightBeat.com:

The northwest fight scene is quickly picking up steam with fight cards scheduled to go on back-to-back throughout the region in the next couple of weeks. Next weekend will be especially busy in the state of Idaho with two cards lined up with some very interesting match-ups and one the region’s favorite fighters making the transition from fighter to promoter.

Iran is a grizzly 'roid. He would cut Jones a new one. You see Jones bombing Tommy Hearns out?

Barkley isn't beating anyone except a select few midwest bums that are even more punch drunk than he is.

Pavlik is fighting a real fighter. Unlike your smurf hero who is fighting the ever dangerous fighting machine Elvin Ayala. Way to step it up Arthur! This should really prepare you for the best fighters in the world.

Are you serious? Is Abraham really fighting Elvin Ayala next? Tell me this is a joke.

Abraham fought his share of tough opponents. At this point of his career, he's just more concerned with cleaning up 160. He's already defeated a couple of WBF champions, icing Ayala will only enhanse his legacy.

*Z*, you seem like an honest poster, but I don't believe you until I see some sort of proof.

Next stop for King Arthur... America?

Press Release: "King" Arthur Abraham will return to the ring on March 29, 2008 against Elvin Ayala in Kiel, Germany. The undefeated IBF middleweight champion (25-0, 20 KOs) is brimming with confidence ahead of his seventh title defense. “I have big plans for 2008,†the 27-year-old said. “I will start with Ayala.†Abraham seeks a unification clash in the new year. First things first, though - after stopping Sebastien Demers, Khoren Gevor and Wayne Elcock in during 2007, he is convinced Ayala (18-2, 8 KOs) will meet a similar fate next month. “I have been in training for a long time and I am in great shape,†King Arthur added. Coach Ulli Wegner believes there are “great things†ahead for his fighter in 2008. “He has done really well but he can still improve,†the coach said. “He has got so much potential. However, he needs to be on alert against Ayala. He will be a tough opponent.†The 27-year-old American last battled Sergio Mora to a draw

Pretty much. He's got one controversial "solid" win over Miranda. But he needed five thousand point deductions to get it.

Didn't Miranda also send him to hospital with a broken jaw?

So I recall. It must have been all that confidence after beating the WBF Super-Middleweight Champion of the World...
