Holy Crap, now THAT was a highlight reel KO. God damn awesome. Good fights so far.

Hopefully I can find a gif of it before the night is over.

I don't blame Smith for throwing the punch. You fight until the ref stops the fight.

Yeah, that was ugly. Ricco looked like he belongs on Celebrity Fit Club, not Celebrity Rehab.

    Silva wins a split decision. 29-28, 30-27, 28-29.

Ugly fight. Ricco was terribly out of shape, and Silva just couldn't get anything going.

Overall it was an awesome night of fights. I didn't order the Pavlik\Taylor PPV, but I can't imagine it compared to EliteXC. There were some highlight reel KO's, and some great action.

This has easily been EliteXC's best card, and hopefully the can keep it going.

They mentioned Ken Shamrock as a possibility for Kimbo's next opponent if he beats Buzz Berry next month. That would be interesting.

I don't know if Showtime is gonna replay this card at all, but if they are, and you missed it, make sure you check it out.

This has easily been the MMA card of the year so far.

That's a mighty fine looking 1-2 that Kimbo threw there. Very nice form, and then he finished up with a cleanup left hook but Tank was already going in for a three-point landing: both knees and his face.

Kimbo looked much more legit to me. I know he is a brawler and he won't get much respect as an MMA fighter. But his boxing was great. Hands up, short, crisp punches with great accuracy. Kimbo can easily be a fighter much similar to Liddell. With the development of a great sprawl and takedown defense, I honestly think he is a very formiddable HW. Props to the EliteXC for signing him. I love the fight with Shamrock, it is a perfect test for him. I love seeing Yves back in the mix. Been a big fan for a long time:bears:

His standup did look pretty good to me as well, even against a bum like Tank. Good head movement too. I like his attitute in the ring, tuff mofo. I don't know about the Shamrock fight though. Why do they insist on his fighting all shot fighters? He needs to get in there with a young buck like himself.

I do fear that Ken may have the submission skills though to cause Kimbo probs. I feel that the first submission artist that Kimbo fights will beat him easily. Shamrock may be too shot though to do it.

That was SWEET when Kimbo threw his mouthpiece into the crowd and said "fuck it! Lets go bitch!" :warning:

I think Kimbo is 34, but I know what you mean. He's got to start progressing before he gets too old...
