Jeff Mayweather says Forums Are Rough

trainer Jeff Mayweather, told me today that he enjoyed participating here but the forum members basically ran him off. Too many people verbally abusive.

The list grows. I hope some of you guys realize the damage you have done over time.

I remember him coming here and I met him when I watched Barrera/Morales 3 with Supercal and Nigbo. He's cool. A lot of people have got run off of the site. Damn!:: :doh:

 

He's a Mayweather. He should be used to chaos and dysfunction.

I'm not really sure why people take these places seriously or personally.

I find it hard to believe all these boxers have been "run off" this site but are brave enough to actually get into a boxing ring.

What are you talking about? That thread should be used as a representation of the forum and our creativeness. It should be lauded to other forums and used to bring in other quality posters to participate here and expand on our diverse membership.

I'll tell you what brother. Joe Rein told me many times before, kill the forums. it's a fucking waste. We are here to talk boxing, and the people are interested in something else. So this is no joke. The status of the forums is something sad and it's because people don't understand it's time to buckle down and get some people coming here again.

So start spreading the word to bring people here so we can breath some life into this place.

I met Joe multiple times, he disliked the way fighters got trashed on here, I wonder what he'd think about articles shitting on Jermaine Taylor

 

Fighters get trashed in every forum, why would anyone not want some diversity? I remember alot of people crying about Planet Roy, get where I'm coming from? ::

That's what I remember too, that and he was busy training. I also remember him saying there are only so many questions he could answer, alot of the stuff was repetitive. But this was all back in the "hey day" of Fightbeat, but someone is spinning shit to where it's posters like us that are keeping him away :laughing:

I like it when we get fighters/trainers/'famous' people in the forums (or girls, for that matter) and it pisses me off when people go out of their way to be douchebags to them. Not sure why, but some dipshits get the owl/crow hate thing going whenever a boxer shows up.

But, that said, it is the fucking internent and it's not to hard to blow off any losers who come gunning for you. Otis Grant and Gerald Tucker are two who come to mind that understand how the game should be played.
