LOS ANGELES, CA (February 22, 2008) – In an intriguing clash of styles that will have boxing pundits declaring this bout an early candidate for 2008 Fight of The Year, master boxer Joel Casamayor will put his Ring Magazine Lightweight World Championship on the line against a fighter many are calling the next Arturo Gatti, unbeaten Australian and WBO Interim Lightweight World Champion Michael Katsidis. The 12 round championship contest, for the WBO Interim and Ring Magazine Lightweight World championships, will take place on Saturday, March 22 at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa and will be televised live on HBO’s Boxing After Dark, beginning at 10:05 p.m. ET / PT.

Joel Casamayor is human feces. I'd rather sit through Hagler/Duran then be forced to watch him foul/run/hold/get gifts/etc.

The 1st Corrales fight I'll give you. Diamond was okay and I don't recall seeing the other 2.

Bottom line is Casa is a consistent bore. I'll take Hopkins even Spinks over him in a second. My hatred for the guy is huge as he's number one on my list. Too bad he'll never fight Cotto because Casa deserves a career ending beat down, at least one.
