Only one I would call an exposure is Oscar. He basically exposed to the world how beatable Tito was, even in "losing".

YES!! Wright is a complete fighter and had a very competitive fight with Hopkins at a weight that Wright did not belong on. Wright is my pick here and I will stand by it. Not many of you gave Taylor a chance in hell and he has a pretty good performance in his rematch.

I'd love to see Pavlik top Winky but i highly doubt it happens.

    Pavlik by UD.

But you always pick against Pavlik, you just don't like him.

He KO'd Taylor once and UD'd him once, what the fuck makes you think Winky is the man for the job?

He is a good fighter, but he stands less of a chance than Taylor. Too small, too weak, too old.

I love this fight! However Pavlik needs an easier fight. Yeah I know this potiential fight is great for the fans but Pavlik physically and mentally can't keep taking these types of fights back to back to back. Why can't he take an easy fight/ easy pay day and then take on Winky later on in the yr. I think he deserves it. However if he does take this fight and wins he deserves to be ranked in the top 5 p4p and FOTY! I'll Holla 5000

:nono: Correction Wright is a great fighter. When was the last time Pavlik fought a fighter with Wrights skill level? And what makes you think Wright is old? He fought a pretty good fight with Hopkins last time I checked.

Pavlik will win. Actually he will stop Winky. The difference is when Winky slows and he always does, Pavlik will move forward unlike Hops and Taylor. Winky gets retired if this fight happens.

Oh yeah I think that Pavlik will win but it will be a lot closer due to the fact that Winky has more skills then Taylor has more in his arsenal along with a better defense. However wit Pavliks output/work rate he will win the fight. For those that claim that boxing is dying I say hell no. 2007 was a great yr and 2008 if this fight jumps off along wit the fight this weekend and Hopkins/calzaghe Margarito/Cintron this is going to be another great yr. I'll Holla 5000

Winky lost by a faily wide margin in an absolutely horendous fight with Hopkins. Both guys looked old in that fight.

that was Arum's excuse not mine. At the ende Pavlik might wanna fight him but if Arum doesn't like the fight he won't do it.

Back when Arum had Oscar he told Winky the same shit. The fact that he was boring and not enough of a draw was the reason that fight would never happen.

He also told Guzman the same shit regarding Pacquiao. :dunno: it sucks but he hides behind that shit.

After the sodomization in the first fight, Pavlik went easy on Taylor the second time around. Jermain's ass hadn't recovered.

nice !!!! god i hope Winky gets knocked out. it'd be great. i'd literally levitate from my seat.

Pavlik's style is perfect to beat Wright too, becuase he's devastating inside, and Winky can't match him outside. Winky's only chance is to out-work him and I don't think he can do that without enduring a fight-ending beating.

no i think taykor improved his defense a lot - his held his hands up high unlike in the first fight, threw fewer pucnhes thereby reserving energy, and didn't allow himself to be nullied against the ropes. i think taylor gets the credit for the less than dominant win this time.

    were you being sarcastic?

I admire all fighters who actually take hard fights. It's what the sport needs, more meaningful fights and less bullshit matches.

Agreed. If anyone in the sport deserves a "soft touch" right now it's Pavlik and now he's ready to take on Winky Wright. You have to love his desire.

That's the main reason I am a fan of his. He seems like he really wants to fight the best guys out there. I love it when fighters want to actually prove they are the best. I'm so sick of all the business men in the sport.

I agree.. I was just talking about the term "tune up" which is usually used after a loss or an absense from boxing.

I agree it's good Pavlik is not fighting some bum but yet another top fighter.. :bears:
