I wonder what the consensus is regarding this fight. Nate Campbell is about as reliable as antoine walker's jumper, but when he's on, he's ON. On the other hand, with Diaz' workrate and style, will it force the pace so much that its too much no matter which Campbell shows up? Will finally facing world-class talent send Diaz into frustration or will he be able to overcome it, and continue his ascent to stardom?
i expect campbell to do better than diaz, but he's kinda old and like you said, never reliable. he also hasn't been all that active, so that might affect him too. nevertheless, it would be great to see him win.
When has Campbell ever been "On" and impressed you against someone good? Diaz is good, regardless of whats said about him. The best Nate from 5-6 years ago would have lost to Diaz. This won't go well for him, IMO. hehe Oh shit! "World class talent"? WTF? There something going on here....Nate?
Campbell looked pretty good beating the shit out of Kid Diamond. Other than that he's never looked spectacular. The guy is a good fighter though and can punch a bit so he may be able to pull it off. I think it will be a good fight.
Jeez, that guy on VS looked pretty good in beating up Diamond too. Kid ain't much good. Nate Campbell is not a good fighter. He's an inconsistent, mediocre one. He's not boring though and neither is Diaz, so I'll give you it being a good fight. Its a big step back in opponents though.
This is a mismatch IMO. Diaz will batter the shit outta Campbell and stop him late. Nate has NO chance at all in my mind. Hopefully Katsidis can rid the boxing world of Assamayor so it can set up Diaz-Katsidis!:bears:
Katsidis is one of my favorite fighters right now. He's just a brutal guy in there. If there's anyone with the heart and will to beat a marathon puncher like Diaz, it's Katsidis. BTW, if Katiosidis loses to Casa, I can almost guarantee it will be by way of robbery. There's no way could legitimately beat him unless he slashed his case open I suppose with one of those left crosses he throws. Got I hate Casa.
I like Katsidis alot as well. Not that I ever expect him to be one of the P4P bests, but he sure is a brutal, and exciting lil muthafucka! I dunno for sure if he can beat Diaz, but he'd certainly give Juan his toughest fight to date, and IF he skin holds up(big if) the chances of him upsetting Diaz are high.
Tam, I swear you are operating at about 400% more hostility than usual. Did you favourite goldfish die last week or something? :: :dunno:
Yes, sectioned. As in 'Paul Gascoigned'. Removed from society for it's protection and your treatment and rehabilitation. I live in NE England, where it rains pretty much every single day. If a month is enough to have you coining delightful retorts to your fellow Fightbeat brethren as 'retarded', as well as a whole week or so trawling through threads being as argumentative as possible with all and sundry, then NE England perma-rain would do for you. Mentally, at least... ::
Fuck that, man. I'd go outside...but it'd be to cut people up. I'd be sectioning those fuckers. I'm going nuts.
:: You'd be KILLING those fuckers. Then you'd plead insanity to multiple murder charges and take a lengthy trip to the funny farm for a spell of relaxing and re-cooperation. And shitloads of drugs as well, presumably. :: I also notice your referring to folk as 'mooks' in another thread. :nono: You must REALLY hate the rain...opcorn:
isn't it summertime in AUstralia now. If so, that really is shitty. Occasional summer shower or two is nice, but not prolonged shitty weather.:shit: I do have family and friends down there, I will have to visit someday.:stir:
Visit if you want, but don't you bring that shitty Euro weather with you. Down here, we only wear clothes on weekends....UNLESS its raining. I like my freedom.
fantastic card by DKP in Cancun, may very well be the best one from this year. But obviously, we won't get too see half of those matches. As for Diaz-Campbell, I think Diaz stop Campbell probably late, too eratic for a buzzsaw like Diaz
