What do you all think? Shane should not have many problems.

This will be a typical Judah fight against a semi-high end fighter. Judah will look good for the first 4 rounds, then get punked trying to survive for the rest of the fight.

This Fight is INTERESTING Cause Shane WILL Go Into a Shell from Time to Time, from the THREAT of Being Hurt...

    & Zab can HURT Shane...

But Zab is Butterbean these Days; King of the 4 Rounders...After that, it's All Shane...

Shane LURES Zab into More Exchanges than he'd Like & PUNISHES Zab w/Body Blows...

This'll B the Type of Exciting KO that Puts Shane Right BACK into the Title Picture @ 147...

    no doubt...

but hell, despite his fragile mental state Judah is still an interesting fighter to watch because whether he is or not he always SEEMS to be on the brink of turning a fight around when he's behind. Even when he's getting dominated in the latter rounds you always feel like he's still in it. Im all for this fight, looking forward to it.

Shane is wasting his time fighting an utter scrub, this is extremely dissapointing news. To me, the proposition of Zab Judah as an opponent for Margarito was completely unacceptable, and so is this, Mosely showed us who the tougher and more resilient fighter was against the thought to be "powerhouse monster" the "unstoppable beast" Miguel Cotto, whom he turned into a back-peddling bitch, and there was a reasonable case for a draw in that particular fight. Shane therefore doesn't need to take a drastic step backwards or a ''confidence building'' equivalent, he needs to jump right back in there with the best available opponent, obviously. Why at his age, with retirement looming, would he fight a fucking Tomato can?...and people are reasonably excited about it??..^^.. the power of Judah's mass overration continues,..and don't the promoters fucking know it!..

I'm not so sure Judah can hurt Shane. His only chance I think is if Floyd teaches him how to really box and be defensive because Judah doesn't have the testicular fortitude to fight or be aggressive. Confidence and an effective jab are the 2 things he'll need to win this fight, even then he'd likely still lose.

then who would you have Shane fight? Cotto and Mayweather are tied up, Margirito and Cintron are tied up, Williams and Quintana just fought. It's either Judah, Clottey or Berto, isn't it? Judah is a two weight champion and former undisputed champion of the division, he rates above either of those two guys in my estimation.

This, by the way Kauki, is one of the major contributing factors to boxing's decline - fighters are so scared to wrack up loses, because when they do, even if its to two top 10 p4pers, morons like you dismiss them as washed up scrubs.

[IMG] Moron? now I am ruminating with grief, and all of the bad bitey connections associated with that slur, what hurts me the most is a moderator didn't come and blank it out foe me in time, and now I have already seen it, several people should be held responsible for my inevitable demise. :eeeek: Clottey!! most definitely!, or Berto, I mean Clottey is crying for these fights and deserves them but he is currently the most avoided fighter in the sport. Because of the reality of his mass overration, Judah has been awarded endless oppurtunities by various salivating promoters against high profile opponents, something strong prospects can only ever dream about, and the plain results have shown, that overwelmingly, Judah doesn't belong in the ring with the upper echelon, he's a gatekeeper, Mosely targeting Judah, is sheer capitalism, Arum, Fraud and Cotto knew it, as does Shane and GBP.

I still want to see it. They are trying to put some decent fights on the undercard. I think the PPV will do fairly well.

Mosley should keep on fighting....he is still #3 guys at 147..behind guess who? MAYWEATHER and COTTO...

back-peddling bitch? Another dimension of Cotto he can go forward..backwards...side to side..SKILLS PAYS THE BILLS as Mayweather would say...and they WIN YOU THE FIGHTS...unlike Margarito who couldn't beat his former sparring partner Paul Williams...

Skills/multi dimensions like the ones Cotto possess helps him win fights...skill like Quintana possess helps him win FIGHTS EASILY....example: Quintana EASY...>EASY victory over past Margarito conqueror PAUL WILLIAMS.

I was about to write something about Zab Judah being a shot to pieces, over-valued, mentally fragile NODODY when considering ELITE level 147lb-ers in 2008, but Kauki beat me to it, and what is more, produced a vastly more eloquent post explaining as such than I could possibly have hoped to post.

    Kauki :bears:

The fight ends when Zab runs out of punches to throw and finds Shane is still in front of him and is preparing to return fire. Zab will then start back-peddling and running for his life like German's at Kursk in June 1943 until, like the Ruskies, he is eventually caught hard enough and often enough to bring him down.

    Shane late KO (9th-11th ish)

The difference is, the outrage by Americans and Puerto Ricans lead by Fraud-groupies, helped Margarito into the limelight, they helped decrease the gap between risk and reward. Clottey is announcing that everybody is afraid of him aswell, and to a degree, it is the truth, no boxing fans talk about him, nor respond to his boisterous quips, and rival fighters don't want to know him, yet by all rights he should be mentioned amongst the top at welterweight.

:crafty: On the subject of that great shiny slippery black jungle cat, let me ask you something, how many creatures go towards thier tormenters while terrified?... Cotto moved the way a squid does when confronted by a shark, intelligent skills?...perhaps,.. e=mc 2, written with his involuntary piss, that's if you can read it before sucking it up :crafty: ya milipede.

That's fits Zab's pattern to a T. I'd pick the same result even if Margarito was fighting Zab.

the outrage probably lead Margarito to the top of the division....but his IN THE RING performance(losing to his sparring partner) sent him back to the middle of the pile...por maricon.

what has Clottey done? I mention him often as an opponent for all the 147lbs...but after beating little Corrales and losing a very..very close fight to Margarito..he hasn't done SHIT!!!

Well Judah's already on Boxingtalk giving his usual speech about how focused he is. Even says he's going to be the first to stop and retire Shane Mosley. He says the press conference is going to be good. We've heard all this before. Yeah, Zab's got his dad in his corner, Mayweather Sr, and G.Leon and all his brothers, but when the bell sounds, it's just going to be him and Shane.

A little bit. I don't expect much from Zab, but I'll make it a point to head to a casino rather than just wait for the HBO replay this time. Shane really disappointed me against Cotto, his jab is useless and the fight wasn't nearly as close in my eyes as a lot of others are saying.

You're demonstrating yourself to be amongst the most clueless posters on fightbeat

Have you ever picked against Zab? How many times does he have to lose before you realise he's not an elite fighter?
