This is the first time that I have been hyped up for a mma fight as much as I get for a good boxing fight.

    Here are my predictions:

    Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson

    - I think Silva will catch Henderson with something big and win by 4th round TKO

    Heath Herring vs. Cheick Kongo

    -Kongo by UD

    Chris Leben vs. Alessio Sakara

-Leben by UD in a surprisingly boring fight

    John Fitch vs. Chris Wilson

-I have never seen Wilson fight so I will go out on a limb and say Ficth by 2nd round submission

    Andrei Arlovski vs Jake O'Brien

    -Arlovski by 2nd round TKO

    Luko Cummo vs. Luigi Fioravanti

-Cummo by submission in the 3rd

    Diego Sanchez vs. David Bielkheden

    -Sanchez by UD

    Josh Koscheck vs. David Hazelett

    -Koshcheck by UD

    Jorge Gurgel vs. John Halverson

    - Gurgel by SD

    Fight of the Night: Silva/Henderson
    Knockout of the Night: Silva
Submission of the Night: John Fitch

Yeah, Im excited about the Silva/Hendo fight as well. I think it will be a war. Hard to pick a winner. Ill go with Silva UD though.

Kinda sad how Arlovski was thrown into a undercard bout that may not even be televised. I know that he is ending his contract and his last couple fights have been boring, but c'mon, The dude CARRIED the heavyweight division for a while. Dana loves throwing fools under the bus.

I agree, Leben/Sakara should not be on the maincard. Arlovski is one of UFC's most marketable fighters, they are being idiots for letting him go.

Why so hyped for this card?

Silva Vs Hendo should be a good fight, but not that significant, and the rest of the card is average.

It's pretty funny that Kongo-HH is billed as a stand up war. Heath will get dominated standing up.

Not THAT significant. The best middleweight Vs one of the best lightheavyweights, who is getting on a bit, and is probably past his best.

Don't get me wrong, they are both 2 of my favourite fighters in MMA, they are both awesome to watch, and it should be an exciting fight.

I just don't see it as a hugely significant fight.

Maybe I'm just in a funny mood, because it IS a very interesting fight, and I am really not sure who's going to win.

If So, he'll B UNIFYING N a Sense, when he Faces Silva...That's VERY Significant...

Anytime you have two fighters of this quality, fighting each other, it IS significant. They arent the most well known MMA fighters on the planet, but they're without question two of the very best.

This is far more significant than any UFC fight for some time, IMO.

Which is why if HH has any sense at all he should take the fight to the ground.

...and I have no doubt he will try that. If it gets to the ground, whats Kongo gonna go? Hold Herring for a submission?

umm...apparently you arent up on Henderson's career...Hendo is a middleweight by nature...Him going up to LHVY and Hvy were exceptions to the rule

This is the most meaningful fight in some time

Henderson by UD. Henderson is too strong and to get dominated in the clinch and he's got a hell of a chin. I wouldn't be surprised if Henderson KO'd Silva either. He's got some heavy hands.

The rest of the card is just filler and I don't care about any of those fights.

Do you guys know if the Henderson V Silva main event is likely to coincide with Vazquez V Marquez? I'd like to watch them both if possible.

Which one is due to start first?

I'm very excited about the Henderson/Silva fight and it is a huge fight. These are the two best middleweights in the world without a doubt in my opinion with Anderson SIlva being the arguably the best pound for pound.

However I am taking Henderson via decision. Silva has better striking and jiu jitsu but I think Henderson wrestling will be a major factor that decides this fight, and his submission defense is really good.

Plus Henderson has never been knocked out. I don't think Silva can KO Henderson personally.

Kobgo is going to kill Herring iMO. Herring likes to stand which is basically Kongo's games, Kongo is just better at it.

I'm taking Silva by referee's stoppage in the 3rd.

This is a great matchup, but the rest of the card is so\so at best.

I could give two shits if I ever see Herring or Kongo fight again, as they're both terrible. Hopefully the loser is gone from UFC. I'll pick Kongo by sleep inducing decision.

Sakara\Leben is a fun fight, but of little real signifigance. I'll take Leben by 2nd Rd KO.

Wilson had success in the IFL, but he's overmatched against Fitch, who deserves a title shot. Fitch by submission in the 2nd.

Okama\Tanner is also of little interest to me, and I'm somewhat of a Tanner fan. I just don't think it'll be a very good fight. Okami by split decison.

Arlovski is on his way out of the UFC, and I say good riddance. He's the most overated heavyweight in MMA. He has decent power, but a Maurice Blocker-esque chin, and he was ruined by Tim Sylvia. Arlovski's fights of late make Sylvia look like Forrest Griffin. O'Brien wins by decision.

I'm trying to see if I can get one of my friends to order this PPV, as I don't really feel like paying $45 for it. Especially when the next few UFC's are can't miss.

Dana is that you? You sound just like him man lol

Why the fighter bashing? you act like he rapped your mom or something. The UFC must mean alot to you if your going to shit on a guy for wanting to fight for someone else.I expect more established stars to leave the UFC soon.

I don't like Arlovski, so I'm some Dana White shill who's pissed because Arlovski wants to fight somewhere else? Where the hell did you get all that from?

I just don't like Arlovski, and always thought he was overated. It has nothing to do with his situation with the UFC.

I give you mad respect TFK. Tons of knowledge and love the mma upcoming schedules you post. But I don't know how you can't see why everyone calls you a Dana White homer. You love Tim Silvia(about the biggest unmarketable sloth in MMA and gets busted for roids to boot) but you don't like Arlovski, who if anything you can't call boring. The UFC wants "yes men" and Tim fits the mold and Arlovski doesn't. He will get scooped up fast by another organization.

But I didn't like Arlovski long before he had any contract issues with the UFC. It's not like I heard that Arlovski wanted to leave, and then all of a sudden didn't like him. I've just never been a fan of his and always thought he was overated, going back to when he was getting KO'd by Ricco Rodriguez and Pedro Rizzo.

To think there's some kind of connection is retarded.
