You had a bunch of idiots running around saying just that after the first Pacquiao-Morales fight, in reference to Morales and Barrera.

Hard one to call. Here are some facts though:

    1) Roy beating Bernard as a professional cannot be minimized. The fact that Roy beat other great fighters means that it was not a fluke.

    2) Bernard's accomplishments since that time cannot be minimized and his loss to Taylor was to many who saw the fights an asterick because the loss is debatable.

Roy is like a smart saver. He put his money in the bank early and it bears dividends now... No question about it, when a guy is beat and then becomes a juggernaught there is some ownership by the the guy who did the winning. In a sense Hopkins will be tied to that fight.... it is his moby dick.

I think they can both be equally great, but to be fair Roy has enough big names on his belt to be the man if it comes down to a coin toss. Truth hurts... Truth is Hopkins should have found a way to fight Roy again, one way or another.
