I didn't know that, that he lived there now, I thought he was part Cypriot.

To be honest I really think he should live in the UK, he'll get significantly more support. If he lives/trains in Cyprus, he might turn into another Lewis, where the Brits don't really accept him as a proper Brit.

maybe...I think he'll be alright though. He isn't gonna be competing for Cyprus or coming back with some half baked affected English/Cypriot drawl, plus he's about 756 billion times more charismatic than Lewis which'll help. I think people will just interpret it as being a training base.

Personally I think it sounds like a great idea....all that sun, fresh air, fresh fish, organic food, laid back lifestyle. Sounds extremely healthy and good for an athlete.

Oh it should be great for him yeah. Less distractions, more peaceful etc.

And you're right, he is 100 times more likeable than Lewis.

haye looks like Dempsey in there. Good head movement and even on his jab he is shiftig his weight fowards to hit with power. This kid is a heavyweight make no mistake about it. Whether he is a good one or not time will tell. I think he is what the heavyweight division needs.

He really looks like Dempsey and that ain't a bad pedegree!

I think to be a successful HW Haye needs to take a page from Holyfield. He seems to have the toughness, strength, and power. I think he's less skilled then Holy but he seems more talented. The big question with him is his chin. I imagine it's pretty good going off of some of the guys he's beaten, but is it HW good?

Cunningham was on boxingtalk calling out Haye for disrespecting him and claims Haye is nothing more than an underskilled brawler whom he would disect.

Haye looks JUST like Jack Dempsey. When he was coming to the ring on saturday, for a few seconds I thought they were replaying an old dempsey fight to wet our appetites.

Obviously Nelson is missing the attention and it bites him a little to see Haye being feted..its his own fault for being happy to just collect the paychecks after each meaningless WBO title fight, he never tried to make a unification fight and ducked out when he saw that maccarinelli was being groomed to take his seat, even though I think even geriatric nelson would have given enzo problems

What's funny about that is that Ruiz would constantly say how Lewis was scared of him and was ducking him  . Chris Byrd was saying the same thing too. I was so glad Lennox didn't waste our times matching against those 2 for easy wins and easy paydays. It's a shame Lewis doesn't/didn't get the accolades & love he should have when a guy like Roy Jones was going above and beyond to find the easiest fights he could. Damn shame.

Haye would knock Steve spark out inside four rounds. A better matchup, in terms of CW 'superiority', would be Cunningham and Enzo IMO.

    Ditto.

I almost dislike him as much as I dislike Sven Ottke. That's a HELL of a lot of dislike... :flip:

Herbie Hide - David Haye could be the next great cruiserweight fight. Hide is fightinng tonight against Rudiger May who is probably the most boring fighter in the world. He is like Ottke but much worse. After Hide destroys him, the two British bombers should go for each other

"Johnny Nelson says he would come out of retirement to take on cruiserweight king David Haye.

The 41-year-old was in the crowd at the O2 Arena on Saturday to see the Hayemaker dismantle Enzo Maccarinelli inside two rounds.

That victory saw the 27-year-old Londoner add the WBO cruiserweight title to the WBC and WBA belts he already had in his possession.

It was also expected to be his last fight at the 200lbs limit before stepping into the heavyweight division, a move he confirmed straight after stopping Maccarinelli.

Nelson - who held the WBO strap for more than seven years before injuries forced him to hang up his gloves - was impressed by Haye so much he would consider climbing back in between the ropes to take on his fellow Brit.

"I was really impressed with David's performance at the weekend," he told skysports.com. "I want to take nothing away from his achievements because he boxed so well.

"It's because it was such an excellent performance that I have been thinking about coming back and fighting again.

"He would be the only opponent that would make me come out of retirement and return to action.

"He's on about boxing at heavyweight but I wonder if he would change his mind if he knew this fight was on the table?"

Nelson admits he would need some time to get himself back into the physical condition required to take on Haye."

    Absolutely delusional...

No. Enzo shouldn't be within kooee of a fight with that moniker for a long time. Mormeck, Bell, Cunningham...and soon, Alexseev. Those are elite cruisers. Enzo is a borderline contender/garbage man.
