FightBeat Radio Show returns with another exciting show. We talk about Peter-Maskaev, David Haye, and Nate Campbell vs Juan Diaz. Nate Campbell is our special guest. Audio quality is OK. We are still working out the kinks. <object width="320" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.podOmatic.com/flash/flashcatcher.swf"></param><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.podOmatic.com/flash/flashcatcher.swf" width="320" height="315" flashvars="playlist_url=http://fightbeat.podOmatic.com/xspf.xspf" ></embed></object><br /><a href="http://www.podOmatic.com/podcast/embed/fightbeat" style="text-decoration: none"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#0033ff"><strong>Click here to get your own player.</strong></font></a><br><br>
well...it was nice to hear Nate Campbell, and REED was decent. I think the quality overall is going in the wrong direction though honestly
well this makes multiple weeks in a row that I've been unable to bring myself to listen to the whole show. The flow is decent at best, and to be frank it would be great to hear people like Steve_Dave who knows boxing to be the one filtering the questions. And I also think Karl has a face for radio, not a voice for radio, no offense.
well I think it will get tighter. I've chosen Reed as the constant and the third person will vary to give multiple people opportunities to be a part of the show. Also, my main focus til now was the technology end and trying to put it all together including getting guests and things like that. Now that I have a better understanding of the technology end I will focus on providing a layout for our radio show that involves a history portion, training and conditioning tips, a special guest section, and one or two fights only. Our main problem is to get regular times and adequate preperation time. With the different time zones and work schedule it's been hard. So I'm at work practically leaving, Karl my be getting home from work, Steve_Dave unfortunately was unpredictable, and Sly's schedule is almost unknown. But so far I've accomplished my main goal: the technical ability of adding guests via phone. So thanks for the advice and we look forward to improving our product in the weeks to come. Cupey
Well the sale might eventually be a partnership. I've just a lot of things going on to go back and address the situation. Also, in all fairness to my guests, we didn't know we were going to have Nate Campbell on the line until 2 minutes before we did the show. We had another guy in mind, but he couldn't make it. Cupey
I think Reed and Karl do a decent enough job, but Cupey just isn't cutting it. I mean, he's asking the right questions, but he just doesn't have a radio personality. Not at all. He sounds way too much like this guy..... <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dok5WEV-AG8&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dok5WEV-AG8&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> TFK
LOL TFK. I had to re-record my audio 3AM because of bad cellphone reception. So I had to be quiet and slow as not to wake my girlfriend. Cupey
I wish I could still be running the show, but it's just the wrong time. I'm starting out at a new job that I'm taking pretty seriously, and I also have a new girlfriend that I like spending time with when I'm not working. Between work and social requirements, and the fact that I'm also a supportive roommate for an adult with a disability, I just can't commit to anything else. I wasn't getting near enough feedback or listeners to motivate myself to do it week in and week out. I haven't listened yet this week, and I'm sure REED and Karl were very good as usual. I'll listen when I get home. Honestly, nothing personal, but Carlos has to change his style completely if he wants to take it to the next level. Energy is VERY important in radio. All you get is what you hear.
If Chris beats Adrian Diaconu in April for the Interim WBC Light Heavyweight title, plenty of folks will know who he is as Chad isn't fighting the winner of that fight so the fight is for the WBC title. Chad is beating old Johnson and then fighting the Tarver-Woods winner. It was kind of last minute stuff, though.
Showtime is billing this as a unification between the four fighters is what is happening. We'll see what happens this summer.
