I fell asleep on TWBB the first time too....

Simply put, you cant watch a movie like that when you arent in the mood to....I woke up later on, and restarted it, and it was absolutely great...

Fell asleep on NCFOM too,.....I fall asleep on all kinds of shit....Just gotta be in the right mood to watch that type of movie

Charlie Bartlett - Pretty good movie surprisingly. Was expecting more of a comedy but its actually a movie with a valid message. Its worth seeing. 7.5/10

10,000 B.C. - Bring a pillow to this one, or watch it if you're having insomnia. It'll have you out within half an hour. Someone I managed to remain awake the whole movie, but I wish I had gone to sleep. Dumbass concept of this lost tribe of people, they're princess gets captured, so her boo travels through the mountains lookin for her, blah blah theres no bitch thats worth all that! 4/10

yea i watched charlie bartlett and liked it as well. a bit too dramatic at times, but pretty decent overall.

 

I think Hope Davis is OK with her singing, better than what i expected.

 

Just saw "The Mist" last night. Pretty good for a horror movie, in fact!

Bachelor Party Vegas with Kal Penn (the Indian dude from Harold & Kumar go to White Castle movie)...sucked big time donkey balls, not one single scene made me laugh.

The only reason it doesn't get an F is because it has some hot chicks.

I thought I was the only who who thought this. I agree. I thought it was gonna be just as bad as "The Fog" but I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed it, the ending is so fucked up though, yet brilliant!::

 

EVAN ALMIGHTY - 6/10 - Overall not a bad movie, but it wasn't a drama and it wasn't really funny. What really got my nerves stewing was Steve Carell's performance. I don't know if he was given explicit orders to act and sound like Jim Carey but regardless he did an outstanding imitation excluding the funny part of course. This was a family movie though, no cursing nobody dying and this made the whole thing completely ridiculous as you watched a town supposed to be flooded. So tell me how someone on one street can watch the flood go down there cross street and not be affected by it? Like I said the movie is watchable, the problem is it's for kids and not very funny and even Wanda Sykes' 1 liners were annoying as she had to PG it down.
Rewatchability - 3/5
Genre Observation - Are family movies the only films making money these days because that seems to be what alot of actors are doing. Martin, Ice Cube, the Rock, Bernie Mac, Steve Caroll. Hell Martins done like 3 or 4 in a row and so has Eddie Murphy. :dunno:

Yeah, I think it is a funny part. I don't know why but it makes me laugh. You're right though, don't force it.

Easily the best movie with Jason Statham in it, though not much suspense, it's still a great crime drama.

 

statham should have been the Hitman. Was that a good movie, btw?

And the best movie with Statham in it is Snatch, followed by Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. :clap:

Looked, as in the ads and reviews were bad, it looked like a souped up Uwe Boll video game movie adaptation
