Oh make no mistake, his scoring is fucking horrendous, but his literary blow by blow is top notch.

I've waited and waited to make a prediction on this one simply because I have no idea who is going to win. Not a clue.

On the one hand, JMM definitely won the first fight, despite those three KD's early doors. And for all that he may have become more hittable over the four years since, I'm far from convinced that Manny's heart is still 100% in the fight game. All that talk of politics and all shows that. And his performance against Barrera last time out was hardly earth shattering, even if Marco didn't really come to fight. I thought at the time that he really did look on the wane a little.

However, on the other hand, this IS the one remaining 'blip' in Manny's otherwise exemplary career. And, by all accounts, he's taking this one very seriously. And there is always that ferocious equalizer to contend with- enormous power almost unequaled at the weight, as well as a tremendous workrate and a willingness to mix it unlike many other's fighting to date. And he definitely has improved technically since the first fight, though probably not as much as many suggest. And until he loses, he remains one of the best three fighters in the world along with Joe C and Floyd.

I really don't know. I want to pick JMM by decision, because that's how I imagine this one will go, but as D-Man has picked that very same result, I'll take Manny by a very, very tight decision.

I must say I completely disagree that Marquez definitely won the first fight.

Did you forget about the 10-6 round? People were too impressed with Marquez' comeback after that, and didn't give manny enough rounds. Marquez won no more than 6 rounds, I thought Pacman was robbed, not Marquez.

How about a few other examples,...

    Paul Williams 11, Margarito 1.
    Joshua Clottey 9, Margarito 3.

Sure there's not a, little incey wincey bit of bias in that?...:crafty: You know you cant help yourself, and you forget about your scorecards too,..that's why your opinion changed recently, you admitted Williams / Margarito was a 'close' fight, in your own words, so lol, EXPOSED.

The thing is, people really did score it that way

"Wow, Marquez did well that round, especially compared to being bludgeoned to the canvas 3 times,I better give him the round."

Margarita vs. Williams 9-3..with a few close rounds that could've made it 8-4,7-5..but at the end Margarito lose to his sparring partner....

Crap, this has been a hard call...I really wish this one woulda happened 3-4 years ago, would have made it easier.

Marquez by decision...I think he'll have just enough to beat Pacquiao in a great fight.

    Peace.

Marquez was so effective last time because he boxed so well, and only went to war in selected spots. But the Marquez of the past 3 fights has been sitting down on his punches a lot more and not being the master boxer he once was. I think that gets him in trouble tonight.

I think Pacquiao will find marquex easier to get to over the course of the night. I don't think he'll bounce him off the canvas like last time, but he won't get countered to death either. Pacquiao is a better fighter than last time, Marquez is not.

Pacquiao on points in an entertaining fight.

This fight should have taken place a long time ago, but better late then never. We should see a great back and forth type of war. I think that Pac-Man has gotten better and has made the adjustments from 4 years ago. I'm gonna go with Pac UD. Damn I'm excited and boxing is at an all-time high. I'll Holla 5000
