I think it's just raw post-fight emotion, overriding the proportion of reality, something ofcourse, Xplosive :crafty: , is notorious for.
The 12th was a clear Pacquiao round. I mean really, this round needs to be posted so we can look at it more clearly.
They were both hurt twice in the fight. Manny was hurt in round 2 and 8. Juan was hurt in the 3rd and 9th rounds.
i had 115-113 for Marquez....i have NO PROBLEM with the decision tonight...but at the end of the fight...it felt to me like Marquez WON..and by a bigger margin...
Juan was landing big rights in round 12 and ducking and slipping Pacs left. Manny even said he should have been doing that earlier in the fight because it was so effective.
I can see 6-5-1. I personally saw the fight 7-5 Marquez. I can understand those who thought it too close to call. Hell, before the fight I even thought it might be another draw... BUT no way was that 7-5 Manny. Jaws, to quote Edmund Blackadder, you are quite, quite mad.
Whats your problem? Not a single thing in my posts indicated I did. The entire point of it, was that there is no mythical key. Everyone wants to think what they saw is what actually happened...regardless of how different you see it from other people. Never any middle ground...and thats the nature of the beast when it comes to contentious decisions in boxin. There are no set ground rules for scoring a fight. Thats the point.
Clean Punching Effective aggressiveness Ring generalship Defense Haven't you heard Harold Lederman? :tease: ::
I have no problem, it's all in your mind. So what's the friggin' point in having a boxing site if we can't say shit then? Aren't we entitled to our opinions? He agrees, I disagree, end of story. :dunno:
if Lederman follow his own rules he would have Marquez winning... Clean Punching -Marquez.. Effective aggresiveness -Marquez Ring Generalship -Marquez Defense -Marquez
He doesn't disagree, he's telling everyone else they're wrong and acting like a dick in doing it. Opnions are fine, as long as thats what they're intended to be. Stating your opinion as if its fact, only makes you look like a cock.
Max has been saying it a long time, but I know I didn't learn the concept from him. In fact, anyone who has ever been in a fight should know that this how each round should be scored.
Fight could have gone either way...what's teh outrage? It was very much like the first fight in that regard. 115-112 either way, draw or 113-112 either way are all equally feasible. There were about 4 rounds in that fight that were near impossible to determine a winner.
I totally agree. This was super close, closer than the first. The first fight Manny won clearly, 7-5 AND the 10-6 first round. I had this one 6 rounds each. 6 rounds each, Manny knocked Marquez down, and landed the harder, more damaging blows. Why the fuss? It's absurd. It was a close fight and the knockdown literally won manny the fight.
The fact that he's so off base with everyone else and so certain of HIS point of view as gospel leads to to believe you're right about Jaws' intentions of making this thread. It also helps that he never responded to your post too RK.
Just watched round 12 again. JMM was never hurt at any point and for a simple reason Pac missed most of his punches. JMM landed good body shots and solid right hand leads and counters. Round 12 was a clear round for JMM and was one of his best rounds of the fight.
Morales is still Manny´s only mexican daddy. Manny was very happy to take advantage of Morales´ shotness, apparently he´s not so eager to give Marquez a 3rd try.
This thread should have been closed after this post, that's all there is to say about this shitty thread.
the only shitty thing is the disgusting Marquez bias on this board. The right man got the decision yesterday, and people arguing that Marquez clowned Pacquiao again are just total pieces of shit
You really need a bit of maturity dude. If it wasn't for these shitty rants (very Ikesque BTW), you'd be a poster I enjoy but you really spoil all the interesting you say with these 13 years old like rants.
Perhaps because he was 1-1 prior to the third Morales fight. I like Marquez and really wanted him to win but I can't help thinking that Marquez and Pacman are always going to run close in terms of rounds but that if they fought multiple times, Pacquaio would drop Marquez on his arse at least once in most of those fights...and that makes all the difference
