in that a case can be made for either fighter and a draw or split decision either way is acceptable.

Can't believe so many people on here seem to be crying robbery.

There were at least 4 rounds that were near impossible to score...1st round being one of them...for example.

At the end I had it 6-6 which of course gave the fight to Manny by a point because of the KD.

    by the way....GREAT FIGHT!!!!!!

Barrera, Morales, Pacquiao and Marquez have given us so much in this decade...boxing can never repay them.

Damn, Tam Tam, you are acting like the friggin' world police, chill, bro.

You are also very thin-skinned, you get angry and defensive very easily.

i agree with the comparison. I think this fight was actually closer than the first.

Both times, Pacquiao won. 7-5 type decisions both times, and both times the closet homosexual Marquez love police comes on here whining robbery.

Marquez is an A level-fighter. He is the best of the bunch between Barrera-Morales-Marquez, IMO, but he has now lost twice, cleanly, to Manny Pacquiao.

Barrera WAS a better fighter than Marquez. So was Morales. It's almost impossible to argue otherwise, IMO.

Styles. Marquez was quick enough to counter Pacquiao which Barrera was not.

I scored the fight for Pac, HBO was on Marquez' nuts

I disagree. Morales and Barrera each accomplished more than Marquez did..but Marquez is arguably slightly more talented than both.

So this is where your Pac bias comes from, homophobia. Now I get it.

If that's going to be the basis of you claiming MAB and Morales were GREATER fighters than JMM, I think you should change the statement to say they accomplished more or had better careers rather than they were better fighters. Accomplishments can sometimes be nothing more than luck, such as:
A.) coming along at the right period when there's good competition.
B.) having good management/promoters to set you up with good fights. C.) and not getting robbed when you face your best opposition simply because you failed to take care of option (B.)

    neither were better than Morales.

Both Morales and Barrera got the big fights before he did that's the difference. And that's the reason they are bigger names.

skill wise Marquez was always better.

    Good post Sly,

I honestly thought Pacquiao won more definitively in the first fight.

    I thought this was a 114-113 Pacquiao deal at best...maybe 115-112.

    Alot of close rounds.
