Both would break Khan in half right now. Diaz may not be able to crack an egg at elite level, but I'm damn sure he hit's harder than Willie Limond does, and he put Amir on queer street when they fought. He would fight that chin through the low left hand and knock Khan cleanly over. Nate would stretch Amir inside six if they fought now. As Salaco said, no way does Werren enforce that mandatory. Both of these fights are far, far too risky for a young, much hyped prospect with a suspect chin and a ridiculous tendency to keep his left hand at chest height. I dont think kahn could beat either guy right now. He was in a lot of trouble with lesser fighters than both those guys.
I think Khan beats Campbell now, perhaps easier than he would beat D. Diaz. Very important that Khan fights D. Diaz before Juan Diaz, though.
Fuck me mIKE, you're really going to be proved wrong. Campbell is far too tough and crafty for Khan to even be thinking about fighting at this stage. I've seen Khan since his amateur days, long before he turned pro, and the only times he's been at all impressive as a pro is his last 2 fights. He would be beaten soundly by either Diaz or Campbell.
Well, I've been wrong before. But, unlike a lot of people, I'll back it up with a trade bet or whatever. I've seen Campbell look pretty mediocre too many times. At his best he might be too tough for Khan, but I don't think he's durable enough to be a tough guy against Amir like he could against Casa or Juan D.
Khan would go through Katsidis and casamayor like a knife through a butter. Also, remember, Katsidis took fucking 5 rounds to dispatch of Earl as opposed to 2 minutes to that of Khan. The fact that it continued for three more rounds only allowed Earl to get KTFO twice in one fight. Khan's stoppage against Earl was fucking awful. Earl was on his feet and trading when the ref stepped in. Katsidis hit him with more and hurt him more, but Vann let the fight go on. Amir dropped him with a decent shot and the ref was already looking to step in...:shit: Casa may be over the hell, but he is ONE TRILLION times better than anyone Amir Khan has even WATCHED in a professional ring, let alone been in with. Khan is one step above the guy who delivers Ice in the old days.. a real tough guy but that's about it. in modern times.. I'd put Kahn on the level of a inner city bicycle courier.. in shape, can be aggressive but still pretty much garbage
