shane won that fight i have a gif somewhere of oscar throwing 7-8 punch combo to start the 12th, the one where lampley goes crazy, and you can CLEARLY see that NONE, ZERO, of those punches landed ::
I agree Shane won it.. but before they read the scores I was sure it was close enough that they'd give it to Goldy.. thus my "Shane Didn't do enough" thread:: I wanna see that orginal pic though
jaja that's the one! when I find one from Pacquiao from last Saturday I'll post it and compare. it was similar ::
pac was putting his head down ready to cry like he did when Morales beat him. But when the words "AND NEW" were read, he jumped up like a retard going for ice cream.
I guess thats how Shanes mouth piece went flying out of the ring in the 11th ... I guess thats why he was complaining to his daddy that DLH's left hook was to fast to avoid ..:dunno:
The fight was close and could've gone either way. I scored it narrowly for DLH. Mosley was on the juice anyway, admitting to it later. I consider that fight to be like a no-contest.
Similar to the Tito fight as I remember, Oscar dominated the first 8, faded the last 4 but still clearly won.
http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/21033136/ http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3041449&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines "Sugar" Shane Mosley says he is a "health-freak-type of guy" who had no idea that what he took for a few weeks in the fall of 2003 were the BALCO designer steroids "the clear" and "the cream," which he said he was pressured to take by his former strength and conditioning coach. "Unknowingly, yes, some of the substances they are talking about, were being used as part of the workouts. I didn't know what the hell it was," Mosley said in an interview with ESPN.com Friday from Big Bear, Calif., where he is training for a Nov. 10 fight with welterweight titleholder Miguel Cotto. "I had no intentions of trying to cheat or do anything crazy," Mosley said. "My thing is live healthy, eat healthy. That's how I live. I'm not afraid what people will think. I know the truth."
Round 1: Even Round 2: DLH Round 3: DLH Round 4: Trinidad Round 5: DLH Round 6: DLH Round 7: DLH Round 8: Trinidad Round 9: DLH Round 10: Trinidad Round 11: Trinidad Round 12: Trinidad 115-114 DLH. DLH narrowly beat Trinidad and Mosley in the rematch, however neither of those decisions were as bad as Oscar's "wins" over Quartey or Sturm.
Mosley looked like someone who just won a beauty pageant when that decision was announced. "Oh my god, I won??!!!"
That's a scorecard I can respect. I had Trinidad-DLH a draw and it was an ugly, ugly fight that was terrible to score. I actually thought Mosley narrowly won the rematch vs. DLH, but don't have my scorecard on that one...will have to watch again. I had DLH beating Ike by 1 pt., I believe. Sturm did beat DLH, though. Peace.
