Really? I think I'm going to download that fight tonight. Abdulaev was one of my favorite fighters to watch.

    Rees looks shaky.

Left to body by Kotelnik. Crumpled over a bit. Huge rd. 8 for Kotelnik. Really good work in close.

    78-74 Kotelnik

Looks like a late round stoppage, Rees is a game, but outclassed and exhausted.

Big round for Kotelnik. Wouldn't be surprised if Rees doesn't see the end.

I'd like to change my pick from "Rees, early" to Kotelnik by decision :bears:

Rd to Kotelnik. Rees, as usual, better early but Kotelnik comes on strong. Some really nice left counters...Rees doesn't protect himself when he backs up.

    88-83 Kotelnik

Rees tries hard early in the rounds, but Kotelnik blocks, waits his turn and outloads on Rees.

Rees needs a knockout to win. I'd like to see Arturo Gatti vs. Gavin Rees, neither are that great but it would still be a hell of a fight.:dunno:

Another very good round, 10, for Kotelnik again. Some uppercut in close, and left hooks...Kotelnik might've tripled with it at one point.

Rees gutted it out at the end of the round...both traded punches to bell.

Rd. 11 clearly to Kotelnik. Just lands the much cleaner punches. Good left hook early and right hand. In control most of the way. Rees' activity appeared to drop substantially.

Announcers somehow favor Rees in that round.

    107-101 Kotelnik

I don´t know what these stupid britsih fuckers are watching. They have Rees ahead by a round. He has won a maximum of two rounds from round three on.

Rees almost KD'd by right hand. His legs were gone...a few more punches and ref steps in.

It was a left that didn't land clearly but put his chin in position for the come-back right that wobbled him badly.

    TKO 12 2:34 Kotelnik.

You gotta be kidding me? Fucking retards, who had him ahead?

I've been watching the stream very choppily on this connection, but from what I could see it looked fairly 1 sided in favour of kotelnik.

    There's a copy on worldboxingvideoarchive.com.

But anyway, I guess Kotelnik is just a slow starter, because he impressed me as the fight went on. Rees is a tough cookie, but looks like dude should be at 135 or even 130. Good scrap either way. :bears:

They are welsh, what do you expect?

These are people who if you walk into a shop in wales etc, they'll start speaking welsh when an "outsider" walks in, even if they were speaking in English beforehand.

Calzaghe's biggest problem is beign welsh.

Yeah, um........... I might make one if Casamayor wins a decision, even though that's most people's pick :tease:

To be fair, Rees, early was just a joke. I thought Kotelnik would probably decision him, but i'm fairly surprised he stopped him.

    Scorecards 106-103,106-103 Kotelnik - 105-104 Rees

Kotelnik might have actually won a majority decision on the scorecards, barring some miraculous 10-7 round for Rees.

105-104 REES was probably the Panamanian.

Might have had the wrong cards, others say Kotelnik 107-102 twice and 106-103 once. Well doesn´t matter. This time Kotelnik left no doubts and can now happily join the Universum bumbeater club, unless he gets the Sidorenko special treatment of quality opposition. :bears: :bears: :bears:
