In the span of less than three months, we've had...

    Pavlik-Taylor II
    Vazquez-Marquez III
    Campbell-Diaz
    Pacqioau-Marquez II
    Andrade-Stieglitz
    Casamayor-Katsidis

All were great, dramatic fights, and at least three (maybe four?) of them are Fight of the Year candidates.

But what do we have to look forward to from hereon in?

    DeLaHoya-Forbes?
    Cotto-Gomez?

Calzaghe-Hopkins is certainly an interesting and significant fight, but as far as being an exciting one...

Either Margarito-Cintron and Mosley-Judah could surprise us, but both have a very high potential to be one-sided slaughters for Margarito and Mosley.

Regardless, after all the action we've had these three months, the rest of the year could seem like a very loooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg year...

Maybe we should finish on a high note and just end the year now?

Maybe we will see Cotto/Mayweather (superfight) or Cotto/Margarito (exciting fight) later in the year. there might be a boring period coming in the nest few months, but it picks up later on.

Considering we just saw the fight of the century, it´s downhill for the next 92 years. Larry will be a very grumpy old man in 2087.

Boxing fans have been "spoiled" lately. We've grown accustomed to garbage like Hoya-Forbes and Cotto-Gomez for so long now.

Hopefully these few upcoming fights aren't a return to the norm.

Yeah, it's all downhill from here. You should just cancel your HBO & Showtime subscriptions and save your money for next year.

Nah Cuban. I think we have big things on the horizon. Here is my take: Normally I would not care much about a De La Hoya fight. He obviously is content to get paid big for mediocrity.... But I pray to all the Gods that Forbes beats the crap out of him. Because if Forbes beats him he will derail the Mayweather fight. That would be great, it would shut down a scam that people will get duped into paying for.... A De La Hoya Mayweather rematch. I will watch that fight and root for Forbes.

The Calzighe Hopkins fight will be spectacular. It might be fought tactically but it will be an intense fight. This fight will answer some compelling questions! A lot of us think Joe will be in for a big suprise and others think he won't... I bet that for the predictions thread the board will show a very slight favored to Joe.

Cotto shouldn't be much of a fight. He is sort of taking a step backwards but he deserves a breather.

Judah versus Mosley? The Spaz is always a riot. He may not win but "not for nothing" is the guy a draw. It is a pleasure to watch the likes of Cotto and Mayweather beat the living shit out of the spaz as he rolls around the ground and his dad berates him. The first few rounds are also always fun because the spaz can punch and there is always a chance he will catch somoene. Watching Judah get the shit kicked out of him is the ultimate schadenfreud experience. It is positively Zen like. I am sure Mosley will do a number on the spaz.

PLENTY of BIG &/or EXCITING Fights on the Horizon...

    Cotto-Gomez WILL B Fan Friendly...
Margarito-Cintron II COULD B Fan Friendly...
Glencoffe Johnson WILL TEST Chad Dawson...
REED Suspects that Clinton Woods will Give Tarver a HARDER Time than he Anticipates...

Calzaghe-Hopkins Just MIGHT B BORING (& if So, Bernard WINS) but it's UNDENIABLY SIGNIFICANT...

If Cotto & Margarito WIN, they'll Face EACH OTHER N June...No Way that Fight can B LESS than Fan-Friendly:nono: ...

    Manny Pac-David Diaz should B Fan-Friendly...
    Kessler-Miranda Should B Fan-Friendly...

Who Knows, we Could Get Vasquez-Marquez IV Later this Year...Pavlik-Abraham...Nate Campbell-Joel Casamayor...

Ya'll Get the Point...Bottom Line, REED Sees NO WAY this Year will Suddenly Go DOWNHILL...

Not Sure who Sang it, but REED will Quote the Song Lyrics..."We've Only just BEGUN!!!"....

FNF has a potential classic with Andrey Tsurkan-Jesse Feliciano.
