I have some questions that i would appreciate answers to to close this issue.

    1. Do you consider Maussas win a fluke?
    2. If they were both matched for a rematch in 3 months who would you pick?
    3. Did Harris weight 134 at the weigh in as reported?
    4. Was there something wrong with Harris in your eyes or was Maussa just the better fighter that night?

Maussa's win was a fluke... no doubt about it... Harris fought a STUPID fight. He wanted to knock Maussa out in the first round and spent all his energy trying to do just that in the first round! Harris had nothing left the rest of the fight and got his entire ass kicked because of it...

I would pick MAUSSA! I know what I just said. The problem is Harris (i think) would STILL fight like a moron and lose again. I'm sure of it.

I don't know the answer to your third question.

Maussa was NOT the better fighter. He just kept throwing punches and Harris had no stamina to keep up. Maussa did the same thing to a fighter named Jeff Resto. He just kept throwing punches until Resto couldn't take it anymore and quit like a little girl... That's Maussa's M.O. just throw until the other guy doesn't throw anymore...

Well actually he WAS the better fighter because he KO'd Harris convincingly, and even peformed a fatality.

How could he possibly not be the better fighter?

He outlasted, outgutted Harris, walked him down and KO'd him, end of story.

    1. Yes. Harris came in over-trained (to my eyes) and absolutely fought the worst fight imaginable. Even his corner was screaming this at him from round 1. When he fought the right fight - he had success.

    2. Not sure. I think Maussa is badly faded now...but I don't know about Harris' mental focus. I'd pick Harris with reservations.

    3. I think his official reported weigh-in weight was 139...but I believe this was the fight where he looked bone-dry and was actually running around the block and working the pads the day of the fight. :eeeek:

    4. See above.

    Peace.

Harris-Maussa is the funniest fight ever. I laughed so hard when Maussa tried hitting Viv with the haymaker when he was KTFO.

I liked Maussa's intentional headbutt at the end of round 3.

I mean most guys headbutt on the inside, or lean in with their heads down when they're coming in and throwing (Casamayor), but Maussa looked like a drunk trying to smash a beer can with his head.

    1. It was Sorta FLUKISH...B 4 the Fight, Harris was Concentrating MORE on Floyd Mayweather than Maussa...During the Fight, Harris was Seemingly Caught Up N the Moment & Fought @ a VERY BRISK Pace, which HURT him N the Latter Portion of the Fight...

    2. 3 Months from NOW, REED Would Pick Harris...Maussa's Style DOESN'T suggest LONGEVITY...

    3. Not Sure of Harris' Weight....

    4. The Only Thing "Wrong" w/Harris was his FOCUS & the PACE that he Fought(as Mentioned N REED's 1st Point)...The STORY of the Fight was Maussa's INCREDIBLE Punch Resistance...Vivian Harris CAN Punch & he Hit Maussa w/his BEST Shots Half a Hundred Times...
