busted for pot...which aint that big a deal....for his latest scheduled show, he was lazy and didnt get his medical papers in on time....he just acts up a bit, and says some things he should keep to himself....kinda like how Nate just flipped the birds, multiply that by 10, and thats nicks attitude....Love him as a fighter though....No one has more heart
There are few fighters more overated then Nick Diaz. His win against Gomi was awesome, but that's even a no contest now because of a failed drug test. He got torn apart by KJ Noons. He's shown countless times that he's not close to being an elite fighter, losing to Sherk, Riggs, Karo, Diego, etc. But the combination of an exciting fight against Gomi, and the fact that he smokes pot and is very outspoken about it, has gained him a ton of fans. But he's a C+ Level fighter at best, who after losing 3 straight fights got shown the door by the UFC. TFK
I thought he was a very good fighter long before Gomi, when he beat the shit out of Lawlor actually. He's a hot and cold, up and down fighter like Nate Campbell. But when he is up for it, like against Gomi, he's clearly a very good fighter.
he has the ability to beat each and every one of those guys though....just doesnt have the head for it....if he prepped like he fought, he'd be elite
by the way, those fights he lost were at 170....if he decided to drop down to 55/60, he'd be better off

yeah, Joe was cleary brought in to be fed to Jens, but still get his name out there....he really f'd up that plan, but UFC does a good job of rolling with shit and making new story lines work
alves looks pretty strong....limping back to his corner though....think he turned his knee in that last exchange....landed a couple of good combos, punches and kicks, late in the round
