TOTOWA, NJ (April 3, 2008) – First it was WBC Middleweight Champion Kelly Pavlik. Now it is IBF Middleweight Champion Arthur Abraham. One by one the world’s middleweight champions are avoiding undefeated IBF/WBC mandatory middleweight challenger Giovanni Lorenzo. http://fightbeat.com/news_details.php?NW=21408
Lorenzo is the George Foreman of the Middle weight division strong and measured style with very heavy hands. He really feels bullet proof like young Foreman also. Bad fight for the Smuf. Huffty vs. Gargamel for first fight on American soil. Better pick someone easier!:nono:
When even old George's quality of opposition far exceeds that of a mandatory challenger, something is very wrong.
True! He's not been tested, but as a LHW that has stood next to him; he's big. Also you can see the goods. He has one hell of a right and some good reach for a MW.
I've thought he looked good, too, until someone pointed out how weak his comp has been to date. And it has been horrible.
I've heard from a number of people that he's looked good and is a legit prospect...but I don't think I've ever seen him fight. At least not in a full fight.
Come on Z! I just said the guy is not a prime opponent for a guy looking to impress first time out on American soil. I'm not crazy! Pavlik crushes him.
I've been wantint to see Abraham/Pavlik for a while now but I don't see hit happening. I read somewhere that Pavlik/Mayorga is a posibility for the fall. ::
hey man, what happened in your last fight? lost by TKO on the 11th... Did the Danny Green affected you? Hope you can come back, correct your mistakes here and there.
