Pick em really. Katsidis might be kicking the shit outta Gatti in spots, but because of Kat's dodgy chin, Gatti would have a legit chance of scoring a come from behind KO.

i prefer the word 'suspect', which means it is under suspicion, but not guilty for sure. When you get stopped by Casamayor, suspect is a godo way of putting it.

that punch would stop gatti or anyone else. And in this case, gatti is a bad enough fighter to be hit with that shot.

    I'll take Katsidis by KO

Well its not a solid one. Lets face it, Casa is a solid puncher, but not a big one. Kat made him look like a young Micheal Moorer.

I wouldnt favor Gatti in this fight, but I'd at least him a legit puncher's chance.

Gatti was hurt or down against about every single fighter he was ever in with and Katsidis has a dodgy chin? When did Arturo ever face someone of Casamayor's quality in his time @ 130 and 135?

Katsidis DOES have a dodgy chin, no doubt about it. He made Casamayor look like a mini mike tyson, and are you forgetting that the british level fighter graham earl almost KO'd him?

ALmost KOed him? Get fucked he did. He knocked him down with an absolute peach of a punch, which Katsidis caught flush on the chin, while throwing a punch of his own. He then proceeded to get right back up and beat the shit out of that scrub so bad that Amir Khan thought Earl would then be a good target.

The same kind of blow that Casamayor caught him with to stop him.

He does NOT have a dodgey chin. WHen youve seen him fight more than a handful of times, we can continue.

Katsidis is marginally better IMO but Gatti is a bigger puncher and Katsidis is there to be hit, I'd take Gatti around 6..

How can you possibly say he doesn't have a dodgy chin?

I guess the rest of Casamayor's recent opponents have IRON chins then, because they took his shots a lot better than katsidis did.

And I know about the earl punch, I've seen the fight. Yes Katsidis beat the shit out of him and earl quit.

But he was pretty much out after that, he did well to recover. That was not flash knockdown, he was properly hurt.

I like Katsidis, I was rooting hard for him to beat Casa, and he almost did.

But fucking hell, his chin is not his strong point

I don't care for his other opponents, the only world class fighter he fought KO'd him and was made to look a lot more powerful than he really is.

Much as I hate to agree with Tam, but...

...Earl didn't even knock Michael down. There was a punch, a crouch and a count, but there was no actual knockdown so far as I could tell. Watch again, Mex:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JPnZtZu1RI

    At about 2.20.

The most memorable thing about this fight is Mickey Vann, who was beyond ridiculous. He shouldn't even have counted Katsidis, though it probably favoured Kat that he did so.

Katsidis has a suspect defence as much as a suspect chin, IMO. He just waltzes into punches without a care in the world, inviting guys to take him out if they can...

Anyway, Katsidis would have beaten the shit out of Gatti, so long as he kept his fucking hands up and his chin low, instead of marching forward like a man possessed all the time.

And if Katsidis knocked down or hurt Gatti early in a fight, like happened to basically every one of his fights; would he let his foot off the peddle?

The reason Katsidis went down is cos he got caught early and cold. It happens and it could happen to him in any fight, because he is 100% spastic crazy.
