    IMO Hopkins is the man

he beat Tarver who beat Roy, Roy was the best LH since mike spinks

BUT.. hopkins is not a real LH, I think if he whups Calzaga he should retire.. maybe he should win or lose.

Then we can see Dawson if he beats Glen.. fight Tarver or crapzola and be THE MAN at LH

Yes, he definitely should either win or lose when he fights, that would be nice.

I have never said I do. I hate Erdei and his level of opposition with a passion, and would never consider him the champ, just like I would never consider Hopkins to be the champ. I look at every situation individually. To me it is a matter of a fighter setting himself apart from the rest of the fighters at his weight class. Neither Hopkins or Erdei have done that. Well Hopkins might have seperated himself from 175 pounders and Erdei from anybody that can fight.

I don't know REED.. if it's a draw there will be talk of a REmatch.. then they will prolly fight in another year and have a close controverisal dec for one of them and line up another fight another year away...

I want to see someone (Bernard) win clearly

I hope Bernard can do it, I just want to see CRAPZOLA stretched out on the canvas

I think by beating Tarver Hops has a much stronger case, but I can understand and agree with your point...that's how I look at it as well, when all the theory is said and done.

Which sounds weird coming from a purist like me.

    Peace.

don't be a diva... just because i said something about your GF once doesn't mean i'm following you around. When u post bullshit though through your british groupie view i will answer that - and i even hate Erdei.

You're enough of an adult to understand the warning as you started with "british clown" and have been juuuuust toeing the line in your response.

That said, yes, MTF initiated it so he needs to knock it off.

    Now stop yer whinin'.

    Peace.

Hang on...what did I initiate? I get called a 'British Clown' and I initiated what, exactly?

Hisfollyness even accepts that he agrees with my point, but he started mouthing off anyway. And he even admits that he knows where and how this dispute has arisen.

So what did I initiate, Donny? :dunno:

I said I didn't rate Erdei and that I felt Dawson was the best 175lb-er around right now.

Which part of this is bullshit, and which part resulted in you starting the shit-talk? What did I post in my 'British groupie' view? So I rate Woods? Check out the official prediction thread- so do a few others...

British groupie? You are the one who defends Amir Khan, who is British no less, even though I slate him regularly.

Again, stop following me around. Your bait is pathetic, frankly, and I have better things to do with my time than answer to someone like you.

OK, with so many freaking belts today, when exactly does the lineage die? Say a fighter gets stripped of all the belts because he won't fight his mandatories and another fighter picks up ALL of them.

    Who's the REAL champ?

and u still do it although u have no time for it... aight.

i'm not following you around that's laughable and u know it - i say it when my boxing opinion differs from another poster and if everybody where it happenes twice says i'm following him around, well then i guess i follow half the board around - so don't act stupid.

as for the ignition that was my fault - because of the british clown - so sorry donny that wasn't MTFs fault.

I thought i read you would favor WOODs over ERDEI although there is nothing that would support that claim. I know some people say Woods got better - i guess that's why he fought the exact same fight against the exact same Gonzales with the exact same result a few years later. Woods is no 36 he's not getting better at all and Erdei would decision him easy as he dominated Gonzo.

As for Khan i just defended him because u said that scrub who got beat last week would beat him. Other than that i'm pretty neutral on Brits i guess.

You have posted a grand total of THREE times in this thread- all three in relation to posts I have made despite my having a frankly nominal role in this thread. Coincidence?

I would favour Woods over Erdei, because Erdei is not very good IMO. I am not alone in thinking that Clinton is underrated and will give Tarver plenty to think about on Saturday. So I favour a fighter over a different fighter. That makes me a clown? :dunno:

If they (Erdei and Woods) fight and Erdei wins, so be it. He will get props from me as all fighters in such circumstances do. Just because A beat B doesn't mean that C will happen. Look at Woods/Jones/Johnson for simple and obvious proof...

And show me where I said that Khan would lose to Martin and/or Thaxton. You won't find any, because I never said such a thing...

ok so when i respond to this post it will be 4 times - coincidence? stalking? or just answering the following post in a normal discussion? u decide...

i can agree with the fighter ABC shit u posted but in this case the styles of Woods and Gonzo are similar enough for me that he gets doinated by Erdei. And i put money on Woods to beat Tarver - so u see i have no agenda against him either.

That that Thaxton groupie was TKO or someone else, sorry... but that makes one occasion less where i stalked you then...

My suggestion to Crapzaga is somthing like this.. go around Germany and find some little greasy spoon diners. Ask if they might be hiring soon, then pick up a couple books, "waiting tables for dummies" or somthing like that, or a Bar tending book listing ALL the drinks! He could study that then work in a pub and tell stories about the good 'ol days boxing!

Well, that depends again. Michalczewski had 30 days to defend the IBF belt against Guthrie and was stripped of the WBA belt immediately, because back then they didn´t want to recognize the WBO champ. So in that case I´d say Dariusz was still the champ regardless of Roy picking up all the vacant belts.

Same goes for Jermain Taylor, the IBF enforced whatever it was between Abraham/Ikeke, when Taylor said his intentions where to fight Winky, who I believe was the WBC mandatory. I have no idea how Sturm, who was the WBA regular champ, in possession of the belt less than a year, could get Taylor stripped so quickly, but I´m sure Mendoza and Kohl have creative ways to bend the rules.

Casamayor on the other hand I never considered to be the champ. I thought Juan Diaz was the clear cut #1 and only a win over one the WBC co-champs Casamayor or David Diaz away from being the undisputed champion.
