I was never gone. FightBeat window was always open on my terminal during my course, just couldn't bother to post. I was taking names though of all the people talking crap about me while I was away. The list is long and payback is imminent! Photoshop Hell comes to FightBeat once again!:warning:

I think that fighters should only be allowed to gain a certain amount of weight after the official weigh in. That way no fighter has a huge weight gain advantage on another fighter. I'll Holla 5000

I don't follow the lower weight classes that well, but there are some really good fighters and fights there.

Montiel-Melendez for instance, was one of the best fights of 2007 IMO.

I also thought Carbajal-Gonzalez I was arguably the fight of the 90s.

Yeah Schumacher is a legend. I never liked the mofo, but he was as competitive as they come, a true perfectionist, who could turn a shitty team and car into gold. When he did test drives for Ferrari in the winter he was still a second faster than the reigning world champ in the same car. That were only tests though before Ugo gets all upset.

    1) Fighters that talk in the third person
    2) Refusing to follow up a jab with something other than another jab (Wlad!)
    3) Not making weight.
    4) Fighters I bet on losing.

Apparently the F1 track otherwise busdrivers would earn close to 100 million dollars a year. :dunno:

Though I'm a fan of all weight classes, I can understand fans who think 105-112 is too low. Don't agree, but I get it.

I truly cannot conceive how hardcore fans can have that cut-off at 140 or 135 or so. That's preposterous.

I can see your point above, too....but I'd apply it to all of boxing. That's a systemic boxing problem.

We all know we don't need all of these sub-divisions.

At the end of the day it's a 2.7-5.0% change in body weight by division from 105 - 200+ lbs.....the original 8 is all we need.

    Peace.

112 should be the cut-off. How many fighters below 112 don´t rehydrate above 112 pounds anyway. Calderon can cut something off and rule female boxing, if she doesn´t like it.
