    GOMEZ PALACIO, DURANGO, Mexico (April 10, 2008) – WBC champion Cristian Mijares and WBA title-holder Alexander “El Explosivioâ€￾ Munoz will fight May 17 in the first super flyweight unification title bout in more than 10 years, headlining the “Noche de Campeonsâ€￾ pay-per-view event live from the Auditorio Centenario in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico.

    True - but actually, I expected that due to styles. The Castillo 2, Nashiro and Aizawa fights were more indicative, IMHO.

    Mijares should win - but Munoz has the power to knock him down and hurt him - and Munoz's workrate and relentlessness should make this very difficult for Cristian, who doesn't have the power to really hurt Alexander.

    I think it's quite an intriguing match-up.
