    good stuff Brother REED:bears:

I'm with you on Tarver fight.. I could see it going that way for sure.. although I hope Tarver gets him out of there.
Same with Chad, I HOPE he looks spectacular and stops Glen, that would be very impressive as Glencoffee is very durable

on the Cotto fight.. you are dead wrong son.. sorry to tell you..
Gomez does have heart.. but not just that.. Gomez has fought at '54 and is like 5'10 or somthing.. Cotto is like 5'5

Ok after thinking about it here are my picks.

Cotto TKO 8 Gomez- I haven't seen anything in Gomez that will make me think he has a chance against Cotto. Miguel has shown many dimensions before and I just cant see Gomez beating him. Bottom line, Cotto is a better overall fighter than Gomez.

Margarito Ko 9 Cintron- This will be a much more competitive fight then the first time they met but Margarito is a bad matchup for Cintron. This is the problem, Although Cintron has power Margarito has the chin to take what Cintron can offer. This has been proven in the first fight and also has been proven when Margarito fought Santos @154. I still remember Santos coming in @170 and still only managed to stun Margarito. Cintron doesn't have the combination punching needed to beat Margarito. Look at the Tito/Campus fight. Tito managed to almost kill Campus because of the combination punching, like Margarito Campus kept coming forward eating punched from all angles. Cintron is not a combination puncher, he's more of a 1 punch type puncher and that MY FRINDS IS THE DIFFERENCE.

PS-I dont give a fuck about the other fights.

Tarver couldn't even clearly beat Elvir Muriqi. Unless he closes his eyes and lands a hail mary, he's losing the fight. He can't outwork anyone, he's got a pace slower than Hopkins.

Tarver won both of them fights clearly. The first fight Tarver was robbed and the second Tarver dominated and schooled Glen.

He has problems with skilled boxers, Jones, Harding and Hopkins. Tarver eats up straight ahead guys.

Not Sure WHAT Fight U Watched, but Tarver was NEVER "Robbed" Against Glencoffe:nono: ...

& Even the RE w/Glencoffe was Fairly CLOSE...U DID See the Muriqui Fight, Right???...

Tarver HATES to Get Hit, HATES when Guys get CLOSE to him & has SHITTY Stamina...A TOUGH, AGGRESSIVE Guy w/a HIGH Workrate is Tarver's WORST Nightmare...

Which is Precisely why MANY Give Clinton Woods a GOOD Chance Manana...

He was robbed in the first fight. Tarver should have gotten the decision he won more rounds of the fight.

Yeah i watched the Murqui fight. I watch that fight just to see the post fight interview. Milkdud telling the commisioner to get Murqui out of the ring is hilarious.

If you win a fight 7-5 it is a robbery. You win 7 rounds and your opponent wins 5 it is a robbery. Its like the Lakers beating the Kings 88-87 and the Kings getting the W.

An absurd premise and an absolutely rediculous analogy.

Nobody GUESSES whether the ball goes in the hoop, or opines over who scored the cleaner shots.

    Great ass weekend for fights:clap:

    Cotto KO Gomez in 5
    Margarito TKO Cintron in 6
    Dawson MD 12 over Johnson

Haven't seen Woods fight outside of the Jones fight, but according to most he's vastly improved.

    Woods MD over Tarver

I don't know if Woods has really improved so much. Just thought Jones kicked his a** pretty bad.

It is a good anology. People act like if you win 7 rounds and don't get the decision it's ok because you only won 2 rounds more.

Fraud wouldn't fight any of that list beside him, but Bernard would gladly welcome his list come up in weight to face him I'll admit.

Cotto UD Gomez - in a more uncomfortable, competitive fight than many are expecting.

Cintron SD Margarito - risky pick and against the grain and conventional thought; but I think Cintron will gut it out, use his jab to good effect, tie up Tony inside, use combinations at distance...and survive a late rally. Hand injury is a risk.

Woods SD Tarver - workrate and the willingess to get hit to give 2-3 will be the difference. Tarver SHOULD beat Woods...but he won't.

Dawson UD Johnson - in a closer fight than expected...Glen will have a surge over the last rounds and close on the cards.

    Peace.

Cotto won´t have trouble with Gomez, Cintron will gut out nothing, maybe breakfast, and Johnson doesn´t have the stamina anymore for a late surge, but Woods could very well beat the faded version of Tarver.

Johnson has the stamina to remain consistent...and Dawson fades late.

Tarver should definitely beat Woods on paper...but I think Woods is better than Muriqi and has an underrated overhand right that will bother Tarver all night...and if he makes it a brawl, Antonio will be uncomfortable, especialy late. And Woods has the edge in workrate.

As for Cotto-Gomez....we'll see. I agree Cotto should technically have no trouble with Gomez, but I think many are underestimating Gomez' strength, chin (and willingness to take shots) and relentlessness. We'll see what happens over the last 4-5 rounds.

    Peace.

Cotto will shit on Gomez! If Gomez wins it'll be the biggest upset in recent years, but it wont happen.

Cintron beating Margarita is a possibility however. Even though I'm picking Phony, I wouldnt be shocked if Kerm pulled it off. I'll be heavily rooting for Cintron.

Johnson is too old and slow to deal with Dawson. Chad is gonna box rings around him.

And I actually hope that Tarver beats Woods. Only because I wanna see Dawson beat the shit outta Tarver.

Personnally, I think Johnson is an easy fight for Dawson. Not enough left in the tank and a style that will work against him against the quick and accurate Dawson. I could be wrong though, and God knows I've been often wrong in the past...

Cintron will do better, but Margarito will get a UD.
Gomez will perform better than most people think, but ultimately Cotto will destroy his body and Gomez corner will rescue him. Cotto by TKO in the late rounds.
I have no comments on the other fights since I don't care at all about those boxers.
