Furious exchange in the first few seconds of the fight. Dawson trying to stay flat footed and digging to the body. Johnson is blocking a lot of punches but Dawson looks impressive because h throwing more punches. Nice fight by Johnson. both guys missing big shots. Johnson jabbing a little more. trying to find the range. Dawson spins Johnson around and fires off a few combinations that surprises Johnson.

Better round for Johnson but I gave it to Dawson becasue of activity.

 

hard body shots by Dawson. Johnson struggling to find a real opening. Dawson's combinations is what forcing Johnson to back off. nice coutner Right by johnson and uppercut by Johnson. Dawson is buzzed. Dawsson comes back a little but Dawson is getting hurt. Johnson poses for the crowd as he just beat the shit out of Dawson

Chad has some real problems if he can't handle this old, shopworn Gladiator.

 

Dawson looks TIRED...unless he LANDS SOMETHING BRUTAL...Johnson is going to KO before the night is over....

 

That shopworn gladiator is pretty good.

Dawson is showing a lot of heart. Johnson needs to seize the opportunity and continue to break him down to the body because if Chad gets his second wind, it may be those 39yr old legs that grow tired. But so far, these two look like the best LHW's in the world.

Dawson did better in round 5...landed some hurtful looking body shots...cleanly....

 

Dawson is getting hit with everything but the kitchen sink. Dawson is moving around well but Dawson has zero on his punches. Johnson is just punching and punching and punching. Hitting whatever he can.

Tarver beat Glen. Glen looking so good against Dawson says more about Chad, than it does about Glen. Johnson is a known commodity.

 

Dawson looks worried. Dawson trying to long-arm Johnson, gets verbal warning. Johnson looking more and not throwing as much. Dawson is a little busier. Johnson is blocking most of DAwson's big shots. Johnson not landing as much be Dawson is running like a bitch.

I picked Johnson by decision in this one because Dawson didn't seem very proven to me. But tonight Dawson doesn't look that great....

Johnson landed a few nice shots but the round was all Dawson. Glen is following Chad around.

I'm actually very impressed he's still standing and has turned the fight in his favor. It's still up in the air and I picked The Road Warrior to win but he seems to be slowing down a bit while Dawson - though his chin is suspect - has shown every other skill I can think of in this fight. Plus heart. That's impressive. We'll see if he can continue.
