After spending some time debating the legacy of one Lennox Lewis, it seems that it continually comes down to the fact that he never fought Bowe (pro). Would have been a great fight, but it never happened. So what are some other fights that were there to be made, but never were. One that pops into my head is:

    RJJ/Michalczewski

Would have liked to have seen it, but Terrible Terry and his glass chin don't see the final bell.

Lewis-Bowe would have been good to see

also Tyson-Lewis in the mid eighties

Roy-Benn (it was offered to Benn and Benn turned down a career high payday like a bitch)

Roy-MichelSHITski - a total mismatch but it would have been nice to see Roy dominate Shitski

I always wanted to see Tito-Shane.. as well

Tyson vs Tua should DEFINITELY have happened anywhere between 1999 to Tyson's retirement. Hell they were fighting under the same banner at one time.

I think even in 99 though Tyson would prolly whup Tua. Tua was just slow as hell

Yeah but Tua had that iron chin and would take Mike to the later rounds. And we all no Mike's stamina and mentality are not the stuff of legends.

could be.. the time line is what i'm not sure about

prime for Prime I think Tyson blasts Tua to Bolivia

Tua does not take body shots well, Mike could do his hook body, uppercut and take him out

But the fight could've happened still.:dunno: Tua was fighting on Tyson's undercards. I'd have paid to see it. Would've been a huge ppv fight.

Instead of jumping all the way to 147 from 135 I would of like to of seen Mosley stop at 140 and fought Tszyu.

It was a funny idea I thought. Maybe we should mail around a boxing glove to each member, each member can autograph it, then we'll put it in a shrine as a memory of how awesome Fightbeat.com was once this place ceases to exist.

Yep. That one should have happened. Sanchez never seemed to want that one.

    Also...

    Nelson - McGuigan
    Lewis - Bowe
    Bowe - Tyson
    Leonard - Pryor
    Leonard - Curry

    Tyson\Foreman would've been fun.

I remember they both fought squash matches on the same card on HBO. It would've been an entertaining fight at that time.
