The Headline on the Fight Poster Should REED "ACCOMPLISHED", as U're Hard Pressed to Find 2 Fighters who've Done MORE During this or Any Other Era...

REED has Racked his Brain to Think of a More SIGNIFICANT Fight N Recent Memory & he's UNable to...REED Just Hopes the Actual Bout Lives Up to the ACCOLADES the Fighters R Bringing into it...

Yep, REED I'm quite surprised you're considering watching UFC live instead of this.

It could well turn out to be a stinker, but it's just so intriguing and significant, I'm certainly not going to miss it.

It will probably be like the calzaghe/reid fight

Lots of holding with a lot of pot shotting, then holding again.

It's a Matter of Finances & Tivo, MEX...

REED DOESN'T Want to Pay Money for the MMA PPV, but he DEFINITELY Wants to See the GSP-Serra Fight...

Luckily, REED has Found a Spot that WILL Show MMA & WON'T Show the Hopkins-Calzaghe Fight...So REED is Tivo'ing Hopkins-Calzaghe...

REED is Getting the Best of BOTH Worlds...He'll B @ a Sports Bar Watching MMA, THEN he'll Come Home & Watch Boxing, w/Out Knowing the Result...

By NO Means is REED Converting to MMA :nono: ....Boxing will ALWAYS Take Top Billing N REED's Heart...REED's just Taking a More CONVENIENT Route...

Hopkins competition isn't that great dude. Mostly blown up welterweights, and middleweight pretenders.

I was hoping somoene else would make a statment like this so I could address Mitchell's post as well and kill two birds with one stone.

There will always be a way to minimize a boxer's comp. Try it some time and you can't fail. With some notable exceptions all arguments to me are equally valid. Its true that for one boxer to meet another in absolute prime form is sort of difficult. Hopkins did not have a lot of work to do in his division so he went out of it. He fought the best guys he could outside of his division.... I don't see what else could be asked of the guy frankly.

It just occurred to me again:

THIS FIGHT IS HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eeeek: :bears:

Can you believe that the multi-talented dominant potential legend Calzaghe is finally taking on one of the GREATS of this era...the Multi-talented GREAT Bernard the Executioner Hopkins?

    Are you kidding the Sly!

The guy that dominated Tito vs the guy that dominated Lacy. The guy that shined against Kessler vs the guy that established his legend against Tarver!

    Something's got to give!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
