I don't understand why he keeps saying "ducked Bowe and Witherspoon.":dunno: You almost get the idea that esk didn't start following boxing until 2001 with the sh*t he's spouting on here.

In my eyes Lewis will always be remembered for what he didn't do more so than what he did. He was not a coward but sometimes looked like he was fighting as one. He had all of the tools, but for some reason he often chose not to use them.

Have other fighters taken nights off, of course. But, we're talking about Lewis as an all time great (least I am). I don't remember Hagler, Chavez, Holyfield, etc....taking a night off.

Different styles of fighters. In here you are giving Holyfield credit for making his fights more difficult than Lewis which to me sounds bizarre

Nominated for what? I never said anything bad about LL in this thread just that the stoppage in the Klitchko fight was wrong.

Meanwhile Holyfield was in the process of spreading his seed, populating the world so Doctor StrangeGlove could later coin the term "bastard maker."

Dude I have an active imagination.... you put me to shame though.

The Jeremy Williams Judo flip was entertaining whats your point about it? Did you know that Rahman also slammed Lewis? Lewis never claimed to be a badass. He has a similar accent to Sly for chrissake!! You can't be a badass and speak like a cupcake! It just does not work!!!

Cut to scene in the wire where the new menace,a street kid from Kichner comes in and is about to Shank brother Musso.... "Listen jolly oh chap I have to shank you righte oh!

Bowe was scared shitless of Lewis. He even threw the belt in the trash to avoid the ass whipping Lewis had waiting for him in the ring. Lewis even owned Bowe in the ammy's you fool!

If he'd had a dependable chin I would have agreed with you but fact is he didn't. After getting iced by McCall he changed the way he fought and was still successful.

If he'd had Holmes' chin I'm sure he would have been more agressive but that's like saying if Tyson had Ali's determination he would have been the greatest ever. It just isn't there.

Not saying Evander made his fights more difficult, but rather he brought his best every fight. Lewis came into more than one fight out of shape and almost seemed disinterested. One of the fights I am speaking of is the first fight Rahman. Lewis could have pressed the action, but he didn't. Instead he got tagged by Rahman, and the rest is history.

All I was saying earlier is that I think Lewis will be remembered for those losses and other fights where he generally looked disinterested.
