this is somthing I used to do a couple years back and starting today I am doing again going forward. every wednesday I eat nothing but fruit. IMO it really helps your whole system out as well as suprisingly good at cutting a little weight. what happens is your weekly caloric intake goes down quite a bit plus you get a day of letting your digestion clean out a bit and you get lots of vitamens and fiber.
While the obligatory joke would be 'you are what you eat, you fruit', I actually think that sounds like a good detox strategy, Lok. I might give that a try. :clap:
this guy I used to work with did it and I joined him.. since moving I really had not done it but I'm starting again you'd be suprised at just one day a week of nothing but fruit.. you'll drop some pounds over time.. and feel better too! I find that it is not even really hard and you don't feel hungry becasue basically you eat as much fruit as you want on fruity wednesday. Today for lunch I have a big ass section of watermelon. I used to bring whole small watermelons to work, the round kind.. and just eat that for lunch. it's pretty filling!
