What a joke. This guy gets hit in ways that no fighter ever should. It's like he has no fighting instincts whatsoever.

My favorite part is at the end, when Merchant asks him point blank, "Do you want a rematch?" Notice the looooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggg sip he takes from his water bottle before answering. :: :laughing:

Hamed was so unconventional that he got hit with alot of shots he didn't and shouldn't have HAD to get hit with.

Most of that had to do with his mindset. He was so confident in his ability that he didn't care about defense that much.

If Hamed had stayed with Ingle.....he would have been much more safety conscious.

He fell in love with his power, and what lil' bit of defense he ever had went out the window.

We oughtta ALL be marveled by his granite chin considering all the flush power shots he took flush.

Hamed in his prime is severely underrated.

That video that was posted makes Hamed look like a joke, even the guy who posted it is saying it is proof It's one-sided and taken out of context, much like I could do with ANY boxer. No, that does not mean I am claiming Hamed was as good defensively as Floyd, jeesus.

You go to hit Fraud flush and at best, your going to hit the back of his head, you go to give Fraud a body-shot, and at best, your going to hit his hip or maybe a fraction of his back, and that's if you can pass the elbow grinding into your eye. No wonder why he's so hard to hit flush,.. a complete fucking cheat.

So it takes skill does it, to get hit completely flush, with your hands by your waist and no head movement, with your head wobbling around like it's on a spring?

 

embarrassing shots yes, but not flush shots. that video has about two notable flush shots.

the rest are all just the result of naz being off-balance, or jerking back from punches - because of his usual gangly style. most of the punches are in slow-mo; if they were shown at full speed, it'd be completely obvious that those punches had nothing behind them.

that video proves little about his chin, or about his tendency to get hit flush. just shows his dumb defence.

I really like Naz, no doubt he got tagged a lot in those clips.. but he had a great chin actually.. to be exposed and off balance and have his head spin around like that.. he could take a shot.
