Never a fan of Naz but you can make a reel like to that to make anyone look bad.

But what happened to the re-match.

Naz could talk the talk but ultimately he couldn't walk the walk.

I disagree. With Hamed's video you see a guy getting hit unlike any other fighter because Hamed does shit so wrong and unorthodox that it hurts him. He would get hit like that because he thought he had skills like Ali to just dodge shots by leaning out of the way, and lots of people actually compared him to Ali. Sure when he fought C level bums, he looked like Ali, but when he fought better comp, you get the kind of stuff that you saw in that video. Hamed sucked ass and his competition was mediocre.

The only top level guy he ever fought dominated him every second of every rd they fought and that should tell you how great Hamed was not.

    BULLSHIT...

Kevin Kelley was 30 Years Old w/1 Loss N 50 Bouts, when Hamed KO'ed him...Wilfredo Vasquez was the REIGNING WBA Champ when Hamed KO'ed him...Manuel Medina Won the Featherweight title 2-3 times AFTER Hamed KO'ed him...Tom Johnson Fought ANOTHER 4-5 Years AFTER Hamed KO'ed him...Paul Ingle WON a Featherweight Title AFTER Hamed KO'ed him...

Guys like Wayne McCullough & Vuyani Bungu were Former World Champions that Prince DOMINATED...

Sure, Hamed LOST a 1-Sided Fight to the BEST Guy he was Ever N the Ring w/, AND he Dealt w/that Loss like a BITCH, but Barrera WASN'T "The Only Top Level Guy" Hamed Ever Fought...

Maybe it would be better to say he lost to the only elite fighter he ever faced. he beat some good and very good fighters but at the end of the day lost to the only elite fighter he ever met. After that he basically quit like a bitch. "it's not that I want a rematch, I am getting a rematch"!!

He could also use that unorthodox style to make you miss too. If that video was a career highlight of him getting hit, then he rarely got hit

    No, you couldn't.

You could make a video of Floyd (or any fighter) getting hit with shots, yes.

But embarassing shots? Shots that no halfway decent fighter with any semblence of ring insticts or reaction ability should ever get hit with? And consistently and in succession?

    No, you couldn't.

    Yep.

I'll venture to say I've NEVER seen a fighter outside the clubfighter level consistently getting hit in that way.

    Good.

I can't wait to see Floyd standing straight up with his mouth wide open, arms outstreched, walking straight into 3 or 4 consecutive left hands, while flopping and flailing around like a barroom drunk...

One only needs to go back to the Hatton fight to see him flailing his arms around trying to stand up doing the jig across the ring backwards

    "Carefully edited"?

There's TONS of examples of him looking like he did here in fights all through his career. No one had to look hard to find the clips that they did.

If anything, this video did him a favor by limiting itself only to as many examples that would fit in the duration of the song.

I know I know. I don't even try to be objective with Hamed.

BUT, you know I am a Lewis HATER, but I give him props. I don't like him one bit, or his style, but he was a very, very effective heavyweight.

And with hamed, hate aside, he DID lose to the only elite fighter he faced, and in humiliating fashion.

He was style over substance, he just wasn't that good, and ultimately - he knew it.

He had declined, barely trained and yet was still competitive with a a prime all time great. What does that tell you? Hamed was a tremendous fighter at his best, ability wise as good as Barrera & Morales, though obviously nowhere near those guys in historical terms.

    WTF? :eeeek:

Err no, he was not competitive at all. And that's sort of the whole point about Barrera - Hamed, hamed looked like he didn't even belong in the same ring. Barrera dominated from start to finish and made him look like a fucking amateur in the process.

He did train too, he wouldn't have even made the weight if he barely trained. I think that little princess documentary was exagerrated.

The fact is the ONLY prime elite fighter he faced, beat the shit out of him, humiliated him, and for all intents and purposes - retired him.

Barrera would have schooled any version of hamed.

Hamed might be the single most overrated fighter in boxing history. He's even more overrated than Tito.
