After Watson, Benn developed more heart than displayed that night, I love the chap, don't see how anyone couldn't?, ..but he took a dive in that Watson fight, sadly, but oh my sweet dear god did he make up for it in the course of the rest of his career,..:eeeek: ,...:bears: Yes Nige, yes, yes.

The aussie accent on the other hand is a joke, and nothing more than a source of amusement.

I wanted Eubank beaten so badly I could taste it. I didn't want to speak to anyone for a week after Eubank stopped him! :doh:

 

Benn didn't quit in the watson fight. :nono:

He punched himself out by the 6th round after a ridiculous and slopy early pace (just hitting Watson's gloves). Plus he was the victim of a short count (he was only on the canvas for about 6 seconds when the ref reached the count of 10...and he was on his feet).

 

He seemed to give up after he got thumbed in the eye, then decided to have one final slog. He got hit with a pretty weak lookin' hook and just voluntarily helped himself lean backwards onto the canvas, the ref's count may have been a little quick, but Benn looked RELIEVED that it had been stopped, his legs were fine, and he didnt protest whatsoever.

He definitely quit, he pulled an "Ali" or a "Zoo" or whatever its called.
