I appreciate the thousands of dollars I've won over the years by betting against him.

With all that hate I would actually assume you have lost more betting against him.

For example I'm sure you have a few quid on Forbes.

Oscar De La Hoya is a whitebred corperate piece of sellout trash, he's a devious, two-faced greedy maggot, and is about as mexican as Paul Wolfawitz. With that said, why are you all concerntrating on him, and never on fightbeat's loveable hero Fraud Mayweather?, who would honour you groupies with 80 Oscar rematches if he could, and would blow up like a true sociopath if you dared to suggest otherwise, it's HIS world, and you groupies are obligated to defend it.

What are the odds for this weekend?

I imagine that Forbes is a huge underdog.

I saw 10-1 but I read an ESPN article and they say 3-1! That's ridiculous.

    Excellent, mostly entertaining fighter.
Tito fight was a blk spot, Hops fight was his lowest moment.

Oscar has been great for boxing. he's like the wrestling "heel" for boxing, without intending to do so. He's been in exciting fights aginst the best opposition. I always watch his fights, just to see him lose. He's this era's answer to sugar ray leonard, with half the talent of sugar ray.

He is the fighter that before and moreso than Hatton, Calzaga or any other guy I wanted to see KO'd it was DLH. I always wished he'd be stretched.

I'm not sure why.. and later on and now I kinda look at just how great a fighter he was.. but I still want him stretched for some reason. I mean who can not want Stevie to win? he's a good guy.. I just hope and think that Stevie will last past 6, DLH will slow and Stevie will just be getting into his groove and just bust DLH up, show him he's done and stop him late:cheer:

I think for DLH a fight like this would do more than a win really... if he wins, "so what" he was supposed to win

if Stevie just really puts a beating on him late when DLH is slowing... just busts him up and making his face a bloody mess. DLH just coming and taking it, old and slow and getting busted up..

People would say "DLH went out like an oldschool mexican warrior, just not quitting.. taking a beating and having to be forced by the doc to stop fighting"

I just want him stretched and embarassed.. just dominated

Sensible suggestion, perhaps it's because De La Hoya looked a little too white for your liking?.. :dunno: that could be it.

I want to see the same thing happen to Pretty Boy. Humilated, dominated, put on a stretcher...
