globally, i'd say that de la homo had less of an impact than roy, srl, and others. but excuse me - i know you americans find it difficult to think outside your gaudy little "5%-of-the-world's-population" box. :cheer: globally, ali and tyson have to be head and shoulders ahead of everyone else.

Joe Frazier? Everybody knows that name. They may not know the man but they would be familiar with the name and mostly in part due to Ali I would believe. Ask anybody "Yo, who's Joe Frazier?" They'd say "Is he that boxer guy?" His name goes beyond boxing. Bigger than any Roy Jones or De La Hoya. Larry Holmes and George Foreman also transcended the sport.
Not DLH in my opinion. I'd say Frazier, Holmes and Foreman long before DLH. I asked somebody recently and they never heard of DLH which was a surprise. But they knew the name of Foreman and Frazier. The best era in boxing.
