while you chaps are accessing your memories I have another favor. there was this fight on usa tuesday night fights in the early 90s that I've been dying to get a hold of. it was between a black guy and a latino. the black guy was boxing pretty good but he lost on a controversial decision....can anyone help??
I'm just going to guess and say this is the Johnathon Banks-Eliseo Castillo fight. Banks is trained by Manny Steward. I think the fight was in NY on WNF.
Which fight was this? It happened somewhere in 80s or it could have been 90s too. The other guy was taller than the other and ne of them had red trunks. I am not sure who won but it was a nice fight. Can anyone help?

This 1 Guy wore a Sombrero to the Ring, the Other Guy had a Mariachi Band...1 Guy Had Mexican Flag Trunks, the Other Guy just had Red, White & Green Trunks... They Stood Toe-to-Toe for Most of the Fight, but the Spanish Speaking Guy Ended Up Winning... Any Ideas???:dunno: ... believe it or not, that was the ONLY fight I could think of when reading the post. glad to see I'm not the only geek in the house :: banks showed a little something in that fight, but has been disgustingly protected ever since. I say it like that, only because oh so many still look at him as a viable threat to the cruiserweight crown.
