2 things worry me 1. His spirits are HIGH:laughing: 2. His being closer to the Lord than ever before.ld:ld: So Chris is shitfaced and dying???:dunno:
Sadly, Chris will probably use this whole "rotator cuff" thing as his one and only excuse, and WILL fight again. "I'm still good, I was just unlucky this time. If not for that, I would've beat him easy. I'll prove it next time.." He'll be just like another Holyfield.
Anyone else can't stand his wife? I remember in the second fight with Wlad Klitschko, while Byrd was getting his ass beat, his wife just kept yelling, "You're fighting the wrong fight, Chris! Don't fight so stupid!" Yeah, that was his problem...
Here we go, the shoulder injury is pushed back from the end of the fight (when it REALLY occurred) to the beginning of the fight, thus now providing Team Byrd with an out - and (at least) one more comeback fight
I thought his wife was good on Flavor of Love. But then she showed her true self when she spit on New York.
Lacys girlfriend was the same. Screaming her brains out while Jeff got his beat out by Calzaghe. It quickly became a sideshow to the fight. There were a number of hardened pros at ringside who looked positively sheepish as she screamed and screamed and screamed for Jeff to FIGHT!!:dunno: I guess the bitch had images of $10m paydays going down the drain and her ass having to keep that job at Lokaz Burger. And yes, Chris was fighting a stupid fight vs Klitschko the second time. He kept getting hit by Wlads predictable right hand.
Its wrong.............the Commissions should give him the same treatment they gave Holyfield- if Holyfield dropped a decision to a big man with a good jab {Donald} and they banned him, then Chris should be banned double fast for doing a bad impression of a size 0 model and getting KTFO in a terribly one sided affair. The shoulder is an excuse but ironically it is likely to happen again as that is the nature of shoulder injuries. Just ban the guy already.
Exactly. He hurt his shoulder in the last round. Hell, I thought it was dislocated when he got up. He had an ugly bump like it was out of place. Chris Byrd is a smart guy, but I agree with you that he will justify another fight on the shoulder injury. But since his career is effectively over, I will give him a standing ovation :bears: for being a ballsy son of a bitch. Has any undersized HW ever had the sack to step in the ring with more heavy hitters? Who else would put it on the line against: Vitali Wlad Tua Ibeabuchi And Byrd would have welcomed a fight with Lennox Lewis. Those names are perhaps the biggest hitter in the history of the division.
