:laughing::laughing: Why didn't they make Arce vs Darchinyan so they could both make decent money before both kept embarrassing themselves further???
Darchinian lost to Donnaire and Arce to Mijares. Those aren't bad losses. Arce needing a gift tonight to a Thai nobody tonight though was a bad result.
Yeah that's what I mean. After those losses, Arce and Darchinyan have continued to look bad. Arce barely scraped by here and Darchinyan got a draw.
"He looked bad" is American-speak for "I didn't see the fight, or any other that's not on HBO or Showtime, but BoxRec says he didn't win."
Correct. Darchinyan looked solid versus Gorres in a tight fight that said a lot about his ability to come back from a KO. DiBella told me last week that Vic, if he beats Kirilov, is the opponent Mijares will probably look for based on styles and clearly business. It's not Montiel but Mijares-Vic for further unification hurts no one.
Based on how Kirilov looked against Santos, yes. And Joe, trust the judges all you want but some of us saw the fight. Should we trust the WBA official who scored the fight for Munoz last night?
Watching this now and Arce is getting his ass thoroughly handed to him. How he walks away with this one is beyond me. Any champion @ 115 should be begging this guy for a fight. It's easy money.
Lookmahanak got robbed. In fact, I think that might be the worst robbery thus far this year. Just disgusting.
Arce is still a 2 time divison champion. Unlike your hero Bautista who is a never was :hammert: Juanma smoking out Ponce makes your boy look even worst now. :mj:
I dunno if its the worst of the year (to be honest, I cant even think of many right now), but it certainly wasn't good. Arce got fucked up and WTF was with the ref letting him fight with tape across his oft-injured nose? That was crazy.
Yeah, that's exactly why I called it the worst of the year. Couldn't remember one worse. Anyway, there's no way you can give more than four rounds to Arce in this fight. And that's being generous.
Arce is a has-been, Bautista would KO Arce right now. On the other hand, Pacquiao is going for 4 titles in 4 weight divisions. ray: How is that Juan Queerquez vs. Nate Campbell fight coming?
Marquez is coming of a second schooling of your boy and is gonna fight CAsamayor for the Ring belt - you know the real tittle at 135 David Diaz is a glorified sparring partner. I'm sure you will climax when Pacquiao wins that trinket.:hammert:
...... Just saw the fight and couldn't agree more. I had Arce winning 3 rounds. :atu: He got schooled again, what a disgusting decision.
Wow it was that bad? Arce only won 3 rounds? By the way I'm having an incredibly tough time believing Arce's height listing of 5'6. Hatton is 5'6, and while he looks fairly short, he still looks in the somewhat normal height range. Arce looks like, excuse the cliché but - a midget ::
Yeah, definitely not a good decision. I have to say though, the Thai looked pretty good. FOught to a very strict gameplan and realised very early that Arce was a sucker for that straight left hand. He landed it A LOT and hurt Arce on a number of occasions. Arce fought very bravely (as always), but there's no way around it; he was dominated.
