Yeah, you had Mayweather decision.

 

It was a smart business move, IMO, for Hatton's team to delay the Mayweather fight. Ray Hatton later said they were working on the Mayweather fight for a year and a half. They wanted to build the fight up, give Hatton some American (and HBO) exposure. And given the windfall of the fight, I think it worked.

Regarding the weight, the hope (or wishful thinking) was that Hatton would be better prepared for welterweight against Mayweather than he was against Collazo because he had much more time to properly move up in weight. Against Collazo, it was on short notice, because Hatton was supposed to fight Lazcano @ 140. Hatton did look better physically I thought against Mayweather than Collazo.

No matter if it's 147 or 140, Hatton is just an inferior fighter to Mayweather. A rematch would be :shit:

 

Collazo's clearly stronger and bigger than PBF - that's why he "looked" better. PBF probably can't beat real prime welter-weights either.

 

Yet Mayweather is the one who knocked Hatton out.
